"Pier, should we really be here?" Ciaran asked as they were walking in a snowy path.
"Yes. We should be here. We're here to gamble." Pier responded whilst his hair swayed with the cold winds. He was wearing a thick fur coat on top of his suit and a scarf.
There was no hint of hesitation in the white-haired king's face. It was pure amusement and it was scaring Ciaran.
That's right. This is one of the times where Ciaran feared something.
When Pier decides about something, he would make sure he achieved it.
"We cannot be seen standing on the borders of this kingdom, Pier." He tried to woe him from walking like a suspicious person. In fact, Pier looked like he was a suspicious person right now.
"You said the Heron Kingdom was your previous kingdom, Fenrir." Pier stopped walking as they were now close at the large walls of the kingdom borders. Only a few minutes of walking further ahead, they would be spotted by the soldiers patrolling on top of the giant structures.
"That's right. But we do not even have a plan yet! How are we going to take back my previous kingdom from them-"
"Shh. I have a plan." Pier placed his pointer finger on top of Ciaran's lips and the man stopped talking.
"And that is...?"
"To let things go on their way!" Pier spoke in a cheerful manner which added to the dread Ciaran was feeling.
Pier was adamant in immediately going to the kingdom where Ciaran had been born.
Of course, the white-haired king did not expect to actually find the kingdom so close.
The Heron Kingdom was next to the Taron Kingdom whilst the Mir Mountains was in the center of the two kingdoms.
Ciaran was starting to regret it that he immediately told Pier where he had been born and what kingdom it was.
Pier did not waste a single minute and immediately instructed him to teleport in the borders.
"Fenrir, you trust me, right?" Pier inquired him wherein the vampire king nodded his head eagerly. Of course he trusted Pier!
But he was somehow doubtful.
They were talking about taking a kingdom for themselves without the means of war. Without shedding blood or killing any of their forces.
How can they do that with only the two of them?
Maybe it was possible for Ciaran if he can break inside the thick barrier of holy magic surrounding the entire territory but that was another problem he cannot solve alone.
What about Pier?
Would he be able to take on hundreds and thousands of knights and mages alone inside the kingdom? There was a possibility he could do that too but Pier was speaking otherwise.
The loophole.
That Pier can take the kingdom for the two of them without too much effort.
"Then trust me with this one. I promise I'll give you your original kingdom back in your control." Pier sweetly smiled at him and Ciaran kept his mouth shut.
How can he even retort when his pounding heart was speaking for himself.
"Oh, I will be going inside alone too." He added.
Ciaran's eyes widened when he heard the statement.
Pier?
Alone?
In a kingdom filled with the most hypocritical beings that masks the barrier of holy magic as something to be proud of but was truly meant to fend off the vampires that once resided there?
No.
He could not allow that.
Pier was too precious for him to lose.
The white-haired king was his other half and Ciaran did not know what to do if Pier were to be in danger and he cannot enter the place.
"No. I will not allow this!" He finally had the courage to beat his pounding heart and speak with his mind.
The reason why Ciaran was doing all of this was Pier and the latter would go alone inside?
"Pier, have you lost your mind?! They took over our kingdom by force, they are ruthless!" He warned with a frustrated expression.
But Pier still had that amused smile on his face.
"Have I lost my mind?" He inquired while removing the scarf and the coat.
"I did, Fenrir. I did." He chuckled and gently placed the garments on the dirty ground.
But that did not stop there.
Pier started to take off his suit exposing his skin to the harsh winter.
"Pier!" Ciaran tried to stop him but Pier was no longer having any of his hesitations.
Flame magic manifested on Pier's hands until it formed a sword.
Ciaran stopped midway.
The sword was pointed at his neck.
His feet were halted in his steps and he did not dare to make another move.
"I'm in euphoria right now, Fenrir. Let me do the things I want." Pier's eyes emitted a strange translucent glow. It was the same glow Ciaran saw earlier when Pier was highly amused of him submitting himself in the man's control.
"I can protect myself when I am in danger." He pointed the sword closer towards Ciaran's neck and the vampire king took a deep breath when it almost touched his throat.
"My king." Pier spoke with affections at the same time.
Ciaran was starting to believe Pier had lost a few screws back at the Taron Kingdom.
"I want to give you something in return for making me the king of your vampire kingdom." Pier spoke and Ciaran slowly nodded his head.
"If I want, I can simply destroy Heron Kingdom's palace and run away but that would not make any sense. I will call for you when you are needed, Fenrir." Pier lowered the sword down and despite the harsh bite of the cold winds, Ciaran was sweating due to the threatening flames.
Pier continued to remove his suit and he also placed it on the ground leaving him with his trousers alone.
"At... at least wear this cloak if you plan on going there bare, Pier..." Ciaran trailed off as he also started to removed his cloak.
"No, my lips need to be dry. I cannot go inside looking all healthy." Pier stopped him and Ciaran did as he was told.
But the vampire king did not know he would up be for more surprises.
Pier started to stomp on his clothes.
Ciaran could only watch with wide eyes as the white-haired noble was dirtying his clothes so much until it looked like it would be the one wore by beggars on the streets of human kingdoms.
"Pier, please tell me what you are planning." He pleaded and Pier glanced at him for a short second.
"I will go inside and view the place. You cannot teleport to places you do not remember or haven't seen yet, right? After all, it had been almost two decades since your kingdom was invaded." Pier gave him a heads up.
That's right.
Ciaran cannot enter the Heron Kingdom by teleporting unless he can see the place and aim his teleport in the desired image in mind.
"View the surroundings through Fluffy. I will carry the brooch secretly with me." He instructed while picking the dirtied clothes back up.
Pier did not bother wearing his coat and scarf anymore. He stood there with a shirt alone and his trousers.
He indeed looked like a beggar on the streets.
A beautiful and expensive looking beggar if that was possible.
"I want to test something too. Will you come with me?" Pier started to walk towards the borders of the Heron Kingdom where the barrier of holy magic ended.
Ciaran followed behind quietly until they both reached the barrier.
It was not visible with normal eyes but theirs was enhanced. They can see the translucent barrier that covered the skies of the territory.
"Produce one of your smallest and weakest shadows." He commanded.
"Gather." Ciaran chanted and a black magic circle formed at his feet. Slowly, a giant creature sprang up from his void and it leapt on to the ground.
"I said smallest, Fenrir. Why are you producing that giant frog?" He asked in confusion because it was a humungous monster frog.
The one he fought at the Mir Mountains and was eaten by the giant snake.
"It is the smallest and weakest one I have." He apologetically spoke wherein Pier sighed.
Ciaran's shadows were all monstrous. The weakest one he had right now was enough to terrorize a small village.
"There's no helping it." Pier opened his palms and pointed it at the giant frog.
White flames started to manifest again but this time, it wasn't threatening like the fire sword.
The flame magic started to encapsule the giant frog until it was fully surrounded by it. The dead creature croaking at the healing sensation of Pier's magic.
"Make it enter the barrier." Pier instructed again.
Ciaran had no choice. He made his shadow walk towards the barrier of holy magic.
He had been expecting it already. For his shadow to dissipate into nothingness when it touches the barrier.
'Huh?' He could not believe his eyes when what he expected to happen was contradicted.
The giant frog was hopping inside the barrier without any problems.
"How..."
"Hehe." Pier menacingly laughed when he saw that his theory was proven.
"Holy magic is basically the remnants of a god's power. But it's the weakest. Some creatures can surpass the power of holy magic." Pier stated.
That is because of the phoenix inside of him.
Melfar was not just a regular mythical creature.
The flaming bird was a sovereign. The strongest phoenix amongst its kind and ruled the entire eastern continent's skies.
Pier's thoughts were proven when the holy magic did not react in Melfar's flames. It acknowledged the flame magic to be higher than it, thus leaving the shadow inside alone.
"Pier..." Ciaran spoke in surprise and bewilderment.
He watched as his shadow was comfortably sitting on the ground waiting for his next command.
"We can go inside and cause chaos if I surround your shadows with my flames. That's an option. However..." Pier pointed his hand at Ciaran and the same flame barrier engulfed the vampire king.
"We need their resources, Fenrir. We need their forces and everything. We cannot destroy them completely if we want to continue having the advantage in this gamble." Pier explained.
"Follow my instructions and stay here. Only teleport towards me when I call for you." Ciaran could not believe what he was seeing right now.
How can Pier's flame barrier protect his shadow from total destruction?
And what is this?
Pier was definitely planning all of this.
In only a few hours, he had everything laid out like he was walking on a clear path.
As if Pier treaded the sandy shores on a summer morning, there was nothing stopping him.
"I see you were speechless but..." He trailed off since he knew the vampire would not let him go once he fully presented everything.
"Believe in me, Fenrir." Pier gave him one last smile before he started to walk towards the walls of the kingdom's borders looking all weak and fragile.
Ciaran was left there standing and unmoving.
It took him a few minutes to process that Pier had went inside the Heron Kingdom alone.
---
His hands trembled in anger as he watched the view from the dead fairy accompanying Pier inside the Heron Kingdom.
The shadows inside his void became restless at their master's wrath.
Ciaran's control over himself was slowly getting loose.
Every time a man touched Pier's body, the flames of his wrath burned his body in an unquenchable thirst to kill.
Every time a man touched any part of Pier's body, he felt like he lost his sanity and it wouldn't be long until he comes barging inside with himself alone.
He wanted to destroy everything. Kill every human present in the palace and witnessing as Pier was regarded as a servant.
A servant.
His breath shook at the word.
His king, his other half.
One of the rulers of the Mir Mountains was kneeling on the ground with a pitiful expression as people were bidding to buy him.
It was utter disrespect towards him and Pier.
Ciaran was not tolerating any of it.
But he also was holding himself. The last string of his sanity was being held by the memory of Pier's words towards him.
Wait and view the surroundings so he can teleport. He did wait. Ciaran easily memorized the places inside the palace along with every room and hall that Pier passed while being carried in the arms of another man.
'Stay calm. Follow Pier's instructions.' He encouraged himself and focused again.
Ciaran was pretending he was the one speaking the words of affection towards Pier.
"D-Do you want to spend the time with me first? I can pleasure you better than the king." He heard the knight speak through Fluffy and Ciaran gritted his teeth.
'I can pleasure him better than anyone else.' His thoughts were contradicting.
"I will come and get you when the evening comes and his majesty sleeps. I will take care of you, Alexander." The knight spoke once more.
'I will take care of him for the rest of my life.'
"Let us make love later, sir knight. I am afraid his majesty will not spare you when he finds out you have touched me before he could." Ciaran's core trembled at the statement.
"I will make love with you until you can no longer walk, my love." His eyes started to glow red and Ciaran's final string of rationality snapped.
Black smoke appeared from his feet and it engulfed him.
He now had the entire place in his memory so teleporting was not an issue. Pier's flame barrier still was enclosed around him so he had no problem getting in.
"I will kill that knight." His eyes flared in anger and he disappeared.
---
"My love, have you fallen asleep?" He inquired as he thrusted again in Pier's entrance. His hard shaft penetrating the white-haired king's walls and giving him pleasure.
Hours have passed but he was still making love with Pier.
Pier no longer responded as he too was tired from being ravaged by the green-eyed king.
If the kingdom disrespected his king by regarding Pier as a servant, Ciaran would get back at them. He had to.
What could be worse than having two invaders having sex inside your own room and palace?
The King of Heron Kingdom was tied on a chair with the dead sword master guarding his every move. A single flinch of his body and a finger would instantly be cut.
He was frozen in his seat all the while watching the two make love in his bed and in his chambers.
All the while, the cloaked man was glaring at him with red, furious eyes.
He watched as the unknown invader pushed his pulsating cock deep inside the servant named Alexander.
"My love, he is still watching us." Ciaran commented while standing up from the stained bed. His shaft going deeper inside Pier as he carried the white-haired noble in his arms.
"He passed out I think." Ciaran chuckled when Pier did not answer. His gaze went back to the gagged king and his wrath sparked once more.
Having angry sex with Pier was not alleviating his mind and chest.
Ciaran decided that it was now the time to continue the rest of the plans.
'Pier knew this would happen all along.' He wanted to laugh out loud.
Indeed, he became Pier's puppet that the latter had been using for his own benefit.
Pier knew Ciaran would get mad for the things he would do so he did not complain even for a single time when the vampire king was claiming his body in the king's bed.
Until he closed his eyes from exhaustion, Pier remained affectionate as he held on Ciaran's shoulders for support.
Going out of Pier, his still hard shaft revealed itself to the world. It was dripping with his own essence that he stored inside the white-haired king.
"You see, only I can insert my shaft inside of him and fill him with my essence." He smirked as he walked towards the king's direction.
The man flinched and, in an instant, the sword master cut one of his toes. But the gag was preventing him from screaming out loud.
His muffled groans of pain were the only thing that could be heard right now.
Ciaran completely mocked his enemies by making love with his partner on their bed.
"Come out, dead fairy." He commanded and Fluffy came out with the same flame barrier around it.
The king watched in horror as it flew towards him.
"Possess him. Take control of his entire mind and body until the day he dies." Ciaran also did not waste his time further.
Fluffy gave the king a sinister grin as black smoke engulfed the creature.
In the silent knight inside the king's chambers, people thought that the valiant royalty was claiming the beautiful servant named Alexander.
They thought that the occasional muffled screams were from the servant being dominated by him.
But what the people did not know, their king was being tortured and currently possessed in his own bedroom.
The black smoke entered the king's mouth, nose and ears.
A few moments later, the king became unresponsive and he lowered his head. He no longer resisted.
"Have you taken full control over him?" Ciaran asked and seconds passed, the king raised his head again.
But his eyes were hollow and completely black.
"I did, master." Fluffy responded now taking full control of the king's body.
Ciaran was astonished with how things turned out.
Not a single resource was wasted aside for the knight he killed because he was unable to control himself.
No vampire died in the process.
No shadows were used.
Nothing.
It felt like a walk through the park with how easy it was.
Ciaran swept his fingers through his hair and he released a breath of nervousness and anxiety.
The kingdom he was born from was now back in his hands and he had full control over its king.
And it was because of the sleeping white-haired king on the bed.
Ciaran looked at Pier.
"You knew I would not stop that's why you did not tell me back then." Sitting on the bed, he caressed Pier's beautiful face.
"My love, my king. I love you." He whispered his words of devotion.
Pier was giving him the world in the guise of giving something in return to the vampire king.
In reality, Pier had all the rights to become the king of the Mir Mountains since he was the one who eliminated all of the monsters. But he gave the control over Ciaran and let them live there.
Now he gave another kingdom in Ciaran's control.
He was cunning, he was smart. Unlike the other known manipulators, he did not manipulate a single person or group alone.
Pier was controlling multiple kingdoms for his own benefit.
Pier Alexander Belmiunde was shaking the entire continent with his waves and they were all starting to dance in his palms.
It was Pier's undefeatable gamble.
