layla had been staying at her parents for about a week now, she knew sometime she'd have to go back home to los angeles and see anna to figure out if they were taking a break which layla knew she needed.

layla thinks with her and anna's relationship maybe they went too fast into the different stages of being in a relationship, and skipping straight to the sex since that's what they had been supposed to, not talking about their feelings.

she watched the tiktok back before posting it onto her main tiktok account, dropping her phone from her hand as she looked up seeing her older sister come into her bedroom, "get changed,"
layla furrowed her eyebrows at tatum's order, "why? where are we going?" tatum only smiled, "just come on, just comfy," layla furrowed her eyebrows as tatum walked out of her little sister's bedroom.

layla raced around the go-kart race track in front of her sister with ty further ahead compared to the two girls, layla skids moving the gear going faster around the race track.
looking up seeing the referee looking guy wave a flag showing it was their last lap, layla speeds up turning around the corners with the break, smirking as she loved the feeling of the wind hitting her go-kart outfit.
layla comes into the lane when she finished her last lap with ty taking his helmet turning back to his girlfriend's sister, "at least you beat tatum," layla chuckled as they turn their heads seeing tatum now coming into the lane stopping the engine.
layla slapped her hand against tatum's hand before embracing her sister, "thank you for this, i needed it," tatum nods her head, "your welcome but it wasn't me who thought of this, it was ty,"
ty smiled from where he stood looking at the scoreboard seeing his name in first place, "well thank you both for this, i love you," tatum smiled at her younger sister, "love you too,"
"do you know when noah is coming down for christmas?"
tatum shook her head, "no, why?" she looked at her sister, "cause maybe there isn't a point of me leaving just to come back in a week's time," tatum frowned knowing why her sister didn't want to go back, "you're gonna have to see her sometime,"

the three of them said together with tatum's arm linked with her sister's arm as the two girls started to skip going towards ty's car, "where to now?"
ty looked back to layla who sat in the back middle seat, "um, chick fil a?" she questioned with ty turning to his girlfriend who shrugged her shoulders, "we'll go there, cause i'm hungry too,"
tatum smiled looking in between her boyfriend who played layla's song on the radio, their heads bopping to the music that's playing through his loud speakers.

layla turns from where she was eating her chip facing her sister now seeing a guy standing behind her, "hey," layla clears her throat looking up to the guy, "i'm sorry to interrupt but i saw you from over there, and i was just wondering if i could get a picture with you?"
tatum and ty watched layla wipe her hands onto her napkin standing up, "tay, can you take the pictures for us?" tatum nods her head, "sure," layla hands thr boy's phone to her sister who smiled.
he wrapped an arm around layla's shoulder, "my friends are gonna be so jealous of this," layla chuckled not realising her sister took the picture, "there done," tatum hands the phone back to the boy, "thank you,"
the guy smiled at layla, "i'll tag you in this," layla nods her head, "tell me your name so i remember to repost it?" the guy smiles even wider, "uh, it's— i'm lucas, lucas huxley,"
layla nods her head looking up to the around 6'5 guy, "all right, have a nice day," and after that, more people started to realise that was the layla beck standing in the arizona shopping mall.
layla sat down after everyone started to leave after getting their pictures or a video with layla, "aww man, my chips are cold," tatum and ty both chuckled seeing how happy layla is in that moment.
layla furrowed her eyebrows feeling her phone vibrating in her pocket taking it out thinking it was anna but it was sab, she answered the phone call, "hey sab,"
"it's not sab, it's me—" anna's voice was on the other side of the phone, "i know if i called you, you wouldn't answer, so i had to do it this way," layla sighed, "anna, i really don't want to upset right now, so i'm gonna go—"
"no, wait! please, i didn't know he was gonna kiss me, okay?" tatum and ty looked to layla who now had a frown on her face, "he promised he wasn't gonna do that—"
layla closed her eyes, "but you did, you let him kiss you, i saw the video, i think everyone who follows us saw that video," she could hear anna breathing on the other side of the phone, "layla, the kiss it didn't mean anything,"
"a kiss always means something,"
she said into her phone, "it always means something," anna frowned running a hand through her hair seein sab standing at the doorframe of her best friend's bedroom door, "it didn't mean anything, because i love you, i'm in love with you,"
layla shook her head, "if you were in love with me, you wouldn't have went onto his stream, you know he always kiss the girl at the end," anna frowned, she hadn't watched any of tommy's streams, "layla, i broke my hand,"

anna chuckled even though she knew layla was mad at her, she'd always care about her, "after you told me to get out, i went to tommy's apartment and punched him across the face, like loads of times," she winced as she moved her hand, "are you okay?"
anna nods her head even though she knew layla couldn't see her, "ye-yeah, sometimes it's hurts but noah took me to the hospital,"

anna looked at the floor, "yeah, after i wanted to apologise because that's not the girl you fell in love with, and i don't want to be with anyone else but you," layla knew her girlfriend was a sweet talker and that's one thing she hated about it, "he shouted at me after i told him what happened and then he took me to the hospital,"
layla looked at her sister and ty who looked at her standing up, "um, anna, i-i have to go," anna closed her eyes on the other side, "please, just tell me that you'll answer when i call you later,"
"maybe i don't know, goodbye anna," layla ends the phone on anna, standing up from the chair putting the tray of her food into the bin putting the tray above the bin, walking away to ty's car.
