the night before layla couldn't fall asleep without being on facetime to anna who'd normally talk whilst layla went to sleep however now it was different, since the two of them broke up, layla couldn't fell asleep without someone embracing her otherwise she'd cry and stay up all night thinking about the blonde eyed girl she'd fall in love with.
"layla, madi, wake up!"
oscar's loud voice knocked onto his girlfriend's and best friend's hotel room door, layla frowned feeling madi's arm wrapped around her.
madi knew about layla not being able to sleep without someone embracing her from riley who stayed in layla's bedroom at social gloves.
layla groans rubbing at her tired blue-green eyes, climbing out of her double bed coming towards her hotel room with her glasses on her face seeing her best friend standing there, "everyone's downstairs waiting for you two, come on,"
oscar comes past layla coming into the hotel room where madi slept peacefully in layla's double bed, "babe, wake up," oscar kissed his girlfriend's forehead who groans, slowly opening her eyes, "everyone's downstairs waiting for you two to eat breakfast,"
madi nods her head tiredly rubbing at her eyes, "okay, we'll be down in a second okay," oscar nods his head at his girlfriend walking to their hotel room door, hugging his best friend in his arms.
"you look hot with glasses on, you know that right?"
layla turned to face her double bed where she sees anna in her double bed, she shakes her head now seeing madi furrowing her eyebrows, "you okay there, lele? you look like you've just seen a ghost,"
layla shakes her head, "uh, let's go downstairs and eat breakfast with everyone," madi grabbed onto layla's hand walking downstairs with layla after the two girls brushed their teeth and did their hair presentable.
noah smiles at his twin sister from where he sat beside his girlfriend and opposite chase with an empty seat beside him and baron.
she sat down in between them, ordering her breakfast at their table where the waitress comes over to them asking them what they'd like to eat along with her number handing it to layla who half smiles.
"ooh, go on layla,"
chase said patting his friend's back, layla looked to her brother as noah knows his sister was still in love with anna, she puts the girl's number into her pocket not saying anything as their breakfasts come.
—————
"anna,"
madi furrowed her eyebrows as she hears layla shower stop, she pushes back anna who looked at her, "what are you doing here?"
anna looked at her friend, "i came here to talk to layla, okay? i love her, i'm in love with her," she stated honestly to madi when layla opened her and madi's hotel room door, "madi? who are you talking—??"
she stopped when she sees her ex girlfriend standing there, "layla, can we—" anna stopped when layla closed the door in shock, "anna, you should leave, okay? layla needs time,"
anna slightly frowned, "i'm here for one more day, if she wants to talk, i'll be in my room, it's 315," she said to madi who nods her head, "okay,"
anna walked away from her ex girlfriend's hotel room, coming out of the hallway going upstairs stopping when noah and dixie spots her, "anna, hey, what are you doing here?"
dixie asked looking at anna, "you're here for layla right to make things right?" anna nods her head, "i can't lose her, i love her," she said honestly to the couple, "she just needs time okay, when she's ready to talk, she'll come and find you,"
anna nods her head, "yea—" she stopped when she hears layla's voice behind her, "you still love me?" anna turned to layla, "of course i do, i'm in love with you,"
she stated to layla, who bit her lip not knowing what to do or what to think, "i still love you too, but—" anna looked at her, "i-i just need time okay? for everything to go back how things were,"
anna nods her head, "i'll wait, i'll always wait for you, okay? you know where i live, whenever you're ready come and talk," layla nods her head at her ex girlfriend.
"okay,"
anna then walks away from where they stood in the middle of the hallway with noah and dixie looking at layla.
"go get dressed and we'll go crazy golf,"
layla smiles at her brother as noah always knew the right things to say, when she comes onto her phone going on snapchat about to post on her main story seeing people respond back to when she wrote on her main story.
"who's tryna met me in bahamas?"
she then sees anna responding back to her message saying that she'll be coming down to hopefully get to talk to her about what happened in their relationship.
she runs her hand through her hair knowing she wouldn't find anyone better to love her the way she is.
"anna, hi— meet me in the lobby in five minutes,"
—————
layla comes downstairs to the lobby of the hotel building she's staying in, seeing her ex girlfriend standing there in a pair of shorts with a black tank crop top.
"anna,"
anna turns around seeing layla standing there in her bikini top with black jogger shorts on, "let's go," layla took anna's hand in hers running to the uber that was parked outside waiting.
layla told noah that she's gonna try and fix things with anna, because she loved her and didn't want to be without her.
"lele, where are we going? you look hot by the way,"
layla smiles at anna's compliment leaning in kissing anna's cheek near her lips knowing that she's teasing anna, "uh," anna smiled, looking at layla, "it'll take time for me to trust you again, but i am willing to work on our relationship because i love you, and i don't want to be without you,"
"i love you too,"
anna leans in when layla stops her with a hand on her chest, "you have to earn the kiss," she said teasingly before going into the uber where it drives them to the beach.
layla laid her beach towel down putting her bagpack down after, running her hand through her hair before putting it into a messy bun knowing she was going to get it ruined anyways.
"u-um excuse me," layla turns seeing some of her supporters standing behind her, "hey," layla smiled politely at them, taking pictures with her supporters as anna did the same with people who recognised her.
"so.. does this mean leanna is back together?"
anna turned to look at layla, "we're working on our relationship, taking things slow, there's no labels right now," their supporters nod their heads, "it was nice meeting you guys, bye,"
the two girls waved their hands to their supporters before sitting down on their beach towels, "you look so hot right now," layla chuckled at what anna said, "i know baby,"
layla leaned in close to anna, "remember we're working on our relationship, you need to earn the kiss," she said patting anna's chest who leans back with a thud making layla chuckle.
anna looked at layla, "i still hate that word," layla looked at anna, "look layla, we need to talk about this," anna sat up on her towel turning to face layla in her bikini, "kamila doesn't compare to you, no one compares to you, okay? she was my crush back before i even knew who you were, you're my crush, you're the only girl i am crushing on," anna said charmingly to layla who half smiles.
layla looked into anna's blue eyes and with the sun hitting at her blue eyes they made them even more beautiful, "i know you do, but i just feel like i won't compare to anyone you've liked or ever dated before, it's not you, it's just my issues," she said to anna, "and i am learning to deal with them slowly,"
"does this still mean you're going back home to arizona?"
layla nods her head, "i haven't seen my mom since the last time i saw, which feels like so long ago, i made a promise that i would come and see them whenever i can," she stated to anna, "and i broke that promise before when i came to los angeles and things happened with me going to rehab and my parents not knowing about it and i'm not doing that again,"
anna leans forwards holding onto layla's hand, "whatever it takes, for you to be mine again, then i can do it," layla half smiled when anna raised her hand to her lips kissing layla's tanned hand.
"now come on! let's go in the water,"
