//Chapter 8: Hundred Broken windows//
"Now we are done cleaning outside the campus, i guess the last thing we gotta do is the windows"
Yuu said sitting down at one of the Cafeteria, Grim then sat next to him and said,
"Im already beat, and we still have to clean a hundred windows..."
Grim said with a huff afterwards, Yuu could only nod in agreement. The two had finish cleaning the campus, the only thing they have to do now is to clean the windows.
"Ya know, That Ace guy is sure taking his sweet time. Who does he think he is, making me wait! I'm ticked off!"
Grim said angrily,
"Lets wait a little."
Yuu suggested, Grim didn't reply afterwards and soon the waiting game began..
<Time flies bye>
"...." <Grim>
<Few minutes later...>
Not long after, foots steps were heard from the hallways to the cafeteria. Yuu and Grim looked towards the direction of the arriving person. It was none other than,
"Finn?"
Yuu said as he saw the Girl approaching them,
"Yuu...chan?...Grim...kun?..your both here.."
Finn said with a little emotion to the Brown hair boy,
"Yes..Finn, we are both here...why are you surprised all of a sudden."
Finn then looked at Yuu reverting to her tired eyes and emotionless facade and said,
"I thought...Ace kun...went here already.."
Finn said as she waves her index finger left and right as she tilts her head. The two Ramshackle Resident could only say..
"Huh?"
"What..do you mean...'Huh?'....i mean...I reminded him...about it..though....i guess ihe.."
Grim continued her sentence.
"THAT ACE LITERALLY ESCAPED, THERES NO WAY HE IS LATE!"
Grim said angrily, Yuu then looks at Finn and kneeled down to her height.
"Its Okay, you don't need to feel bad...at least you did told us that you reminded him..."
He said reassuring the girl who looks at him and nods. Grim then came up to the two and said,
"Let's find that Ace! He made Finn feel bad for herself! Its not only me and the henchemen to do this punishment! So lets go!"
Grim suggested making Yuu nod in agreement. Finn could only look at the monster and thought.
"So...Grim...feels bad about...me? Wow.."
<Awee...Grim has a soft spot for her..>
Before they left, Finn bought Crumpets from the cafeteria and a tea.
<the tea is in a bottle like you know...>
And they were off, As they were walking to the main building where classes are held. Yuu then looks at Finn who was eating a Crumpet on her mouth and he couldn't help but smile at her, It was an adorable sight you can say. They soon arrive to a classroom, which Grim barges in to and yells,
"ACE COME OUT YOU- eh? The classroom is empty."
Yuu and Finn enters the classroom as well. Finn then explains with her soft voice.
"Class...just finished...so..no students..here.."
"Is that so? Well where do you think he went to Finn?"
Yuu asked which the girl could shrugged her shoulders and said,
"I might...know but..."

<Few minutes earlier>
Class was finally over and Students were gathering around the girl, asking random questions and compliments like,
"Where do you live?"
"Your kinda cute."
"Why aren't you in Pomifoire, you would fit in perfectly!"
<Her Father being a Dorm Head Of Pomifoire has its perks...she got the looks...and the fashion sense.>
"A cute lolita girl has come to life!"
"Whats your number? Lets hang out if ever."
Finnian Roselocks, a girl who doesn't like being in the center of attention and the type who would be holed up in her room for an entire day felt a bit shy and nervous around crowds.
"I want to stay in my room and do my dolls...and especially eat crumpets...this is not what I expected.."
She thought with a little sweat drop on her cheek. She then looked to the door of the classroom to see Ace leaving, Finn then stood up from her seat and went after him not even looking back at the boys who gathered around her. She finally caught up with the boy in the staircase and grabbed his blazer sleeve, this caught the Auburn haired boy off guard and looked to see who pulled his sleeve.
"Huh? What the- oh..its you Finn."
Ace said as he looks at the girl who was panting in exhaustion. He then looked at her in concern,
"You alright? You seemed you ran a mile?"
He said in a teasing tone. She finally looked at him, with her cheeks pink and her tired eyes looking back at him.
<Aye...don't think this weirdly...alright..>
This made Ace blush, why? Cause...she is Finnian Roselocks. A girl with a doll face and has a soft voice that is rarely heard, who wouldn't blush at a sight like that.
Finally catching her breathe, She then stodd up and dusted her skirt and looks at Ace.
"Where are you going?"
She hand signed to him, poor Ace doesn't understand.
"W-what? I don't understand anything...like you can talk right-"
She then stopped him with her index finger on his mouth, she looks at him with her tired eyes and emotionless facade. She pulls away from the boy who's was shock with the sudden action of the girl, Finn the pulled out her pen and summoned out a notebook and began to write on it.
Students were going down the stairs or going up the stairs. Some even looking at the two or just passing by them,
"Um..Finn...ya done writing?"
Ace asked with a sweat dropped on his cheek. To answer his question, Finn showed him what she wrote that said,
"Sorry, i don't talk to people much and I don't trust you if i would be honest."
Ace said out loud, he kinda felt hurt because of that. He then continued,
"And what i asked earlier is, where are you going? Are you going to the cafeteria or trying to escape your punishment?"
When Ace read that he could only froze in spot and thought,
"I almost forgot about that...must make an excuse...but what...i know, i could just lie."
<👀🍵>
And with that ,He then looks at Finn and said,
"Oh yeah right, actually I'm on my way right now. I just gonna get something from my dorm..i would be there don't worry. See ya!"
Before Finn could even write back in response to that the boy was no where in sight like he disappeared. Finn on the other hand could only let out a sigh and puts away her notebook and wrote something down.
"Why would he not admit that he doesn't want to do it...idiot.."
And with that she puts away her notebook and walked to the cafeteria like nothing has ever happened.

<Back in present time>
"So he said he is going to get something from his dorm?"
Yuu and Grim said sync ,in shock from what Finn explained to them.
<if you noticed, she is comfortable on talking to Grim now.>
"So he went to his dorm! But do you know where it is?"
Grim asked the girl, which she replied and said,
"No...I merely...have memory...of..what the...campus...buildings.....maybe...mister..painting can help us..."
"Mister..painting?"
"And that would be me!"
A new voice was heard and it was from a Painting!
"Fgynaaaahh! The painting could talk!"
"Of course i can talk, the one over there could talk as well! And yes i know who that Ace boy is went since i saw Finnian
When the painting said that, Yuu and Grim looked at the Painting.
"Wait, you know Finn?"
Yuu asked. Which the it replied,
"Of course, the young lady visited the school when she was young. Which her father once schooled here and was a dorm leader of Pomifoire."
Yuu and Grim could only look at Finn in shock,
"Your dad schooled here! And to add to that, a Dorm Head Of Pomifoire!"
Grim exclaimed, which Finn could only look away with a blush and replied,
"Yes...the hair pin that holds up my hair is what he wore when he was a dorm head."
"Ah! So thats why I recognized it when you passed by me to chase after that boy named Ace!" <Painting>
"So...you guys have been here since her father?" <Yuu>
"Yes indeed, we paintings can dust over time but we wouldn't forget about the students of the this College."
The painting said proudly,
"Um...mister painting...san?"
"Yes Finnian? Oh yes, about the boy. Like you said and explained earlier he we t to his dorm, its on the east building of the campus."
It explained, And with that Grim said this,
"Lets get going before he gets back to his dorm come on Henchmens!"
Grim said as he runs out of the classroom,
"Grim! Wait up, hey!"
Yuu shouted at him as he ran after the monster, Finn could only sigh and before she leaves the classroom she looks at the painting and mouthed 'thank you' before leaving.
The painting on the other hand was happy, because...
It remembered something....from the past.

<Flash Back>
"Another batch of new freshmen."
The painting said to himself as one by one, students entered the classroom. One student caught his eye, he had his hair tied on the back with an apple being stabbed by as what seems to be a knife shaped as a sword. He had a monocle on his right eye.
"Oh my, who could this be? He's handsome.."
It said as he watching the boy sit down and brought out what seems to be a..
"Ah~ he must be a Roselocks, i heard that family is very well known for their porcelain and wood works for dolls."
The painting said to himself as it watched the boy, Martson Roselocks, what seems to be a doll that looks like...
"Ah, the signature of the Roselocks, a blonde hair with a blue dress."
<Seems Familiar Everyone...This was what Finn was making on Prologue 0-1>
It said, just then the teacher came inside of the classroom and Martson puts away the doll.
"Looks like this would be an interesting year~"
The painting thought to himself.

<In the Roseslocks Residence..>
Martson felt a shiver down his spine, he had this feeling since Finn left the house.
"Hun? You seem pale, do you need something?"
Judi said while polishing the last of the dolls for her husband's delivery.
<Yes she also participates in these, only the polishing part...Judi is very impatient..so she might destroy a porcelain or a wood work doll in one throw...she is after all a Ex-Delinquent..>
"Ah yes, its just Finn...."
"Again with Finn, Martson.."
Judi said looking at her husband like he already mentioned his daughter's name like many times.
<he already did...in short...he mentioned her name all the time..>
"What? Isn't it not normal to worry about your daughter in a school full of beast!"
Martson exclaims, Judi could only sigh at her husbands outburst.
"Like i said, She will be fine...Crowley is there to watch over her, even that boy she mentioned-"
"That's exactly the point! What if that boy is only pretending to be her friend and would take advantage of her!"
"Martson...your wrinkles hun, their showing."
"I don't care, about my wrinkles all i care bout' is my baby!"

"Martson...hun i love you but please just trust one boy for once..."
Martson was about fo talk back to his wife but was stopped.
"I-i guess your right...its not like she would bring a boy here once its the holidays in the school. Ahaha!"

Martson said with a laugh in the end. Judi could only look at her husband weirdly.
"He lost it."
Judi said with a sweat drop on her cheek while looking at her husband.
