"Was I even considered a friend to you?"
Uncomfortable silence. Only the rain could be heard and the stress flowing with the wind.
All tears fell out..I was very dehydrated. ut that rain made it look like I was still crying.
The chances of me being sick is very high, It was freezing. My kimono completely wet and damp. The crown laying on the grass as raindrops fell and splattered on it.
The man infront of me was looking down at me. His clothes completely wet as well, the rain water falling down his face
He kneeled down to me and putting his hand on my head "You weren't just my friend. You were and still are my best friend" He said with a raspy voice. We stayed silent for a while. The rain dropping onto the grass was all that could be heard
"Then why did you leave..." my voice almost cracked but i managed to calm it down.
The silence was unbearable. The adrenaline started to rise. It felt like the world had stopped around us. The rain became slower and the sky started to become dark.
"I had to do work and I couldnt bring you with me. If I told you that I had to do it alone, you would beg and beg until I said yes. The lack of communication was because I was extremely busy and whenever I had the chance to write, the people would rip it and throw it in the fire." He said standing up.
I tried to stand up but my body told me to stay in the same spot. Techno noticed me trying to stand up. He bent over, grabbing me and pulling me up.
Once I was up, he put both of his hands on my shoulder, pulling me into an embrace.
He put his arms around my waist and his head rested on my shoulder. I was too weak to hug him back but the warmth of his body was very soothing.
"Please understand... I didnt want you to get hurt, you've been with me for so long and i couldnt bare seeing your dead corpse laying on the floor" He said as his grip on me got tighter and tighter "You were all that I thought about during that whole job"
We both were covered in rain water. The buttoned up shirt was cold from all the water. My face was stuffed onto his chest. I had regain some strength back but I didnt hug back.
There was pure silence. The rain had stopped. The moon barely visible from the cloud covering it along with the stars.
It was just us, cold and damp.
"I've missed you so much" He said. It sounded like he was about to cry.
Pulled away from him as his hand slid down my arm and holding my hand in front of us. I look down at our hands and sighed
"I'm gonna home to shower then I'll come back to the ravine" I said slowly left go of his hand and look at his eyes.
"I'll be back" I said and turned away, walking towards my house.
~ Technoblade's POV ~
As she let my hand go, my heart almost shattered. I've never seen her like this and I completely understand why she was like this.
I dont want her to leave my side.
She disappeared into the forest. I was about to walk away until something I saw something shine. I looked down to see the crown.
She left her crown, covered with rain water and mud
I kneeled down, picked it up and cleaned off the water and mud.
I smile and thought to myself. Surprised she didnt sell or throw this away.
I turned and started to walk back to the ravine with he crown in my hand. I guess it was that important to her
I reached the ravine, uncover it and walking in, covering the hole. I put her crown on my swords handle and walk down.
I was walking down the stairs andd saw Wilbur sitting next to the fire, tommy was sitting down thinking about something.
I reached the end of the stairs and both Tommy and Wilbur saw me covered in rain water
"Where is she" Tommy said.
"She went home to shower but she'll be right back" I said taking off my cloak and hanging it next to the fire "The beds are ready if you want to sleep"
"I'll go sleep, today was horrible" Wilbur said carefully trying to stand up.
I walk over to Will and put his arm around my neck, helping him walk to his room. He slowly layed down. I took the blanket and covered Will
I walked out, closing the door behind me. I walk towards the fire and sit across from it.
"Hey Techno" Tommy said
"Yep"
"Were... were you partners with Y/n..." He almost struggled to say
I look at the the crown that was resting on my swords handle. I grabbed it and started rubbing my thumb on one of the jewls. "She told you"
"Uhm well" I look over at Tommy. His cheeks were a light pink "Well I saw that she had a large scar on her back and i told her how she got it, which she told me and she mentioned a 'friend' and I'm assuming it's you"
I stayed silent for a bit. She really does trust him. "Yeah, we used to be 'friends'"
"Figured as much"
Does he know what she did with the castle. I wont bring it up if he does. I look back down at the crown, still rubbing it.
As I was rubbing it, memories of us started too flood in. Goddess of Death, Kali.
My thought were interrupted by someone coming down the stairs. I look to up and see Y/n, a clean outfit, dried hair and a almost muddy shoes.
~ Y/n's POV ~
As I walk down the stairs. I'm greeted by Techno and Tommy. I reached the bottom, looking around and wondering where Will was "Where's Will?"
"Sleepin" Techno responded
I gave him a slight glance. A started to walk towards Wilbur's room. I opened the door to see Wilbur fast asleep
I walked in, placing an e-chest next to his bed and grabbed medical supplies he needed for his back.
I shook Wilbur lightly, wanting and needing him to wake up. He needs to be warned before anything.
"Will, wake up. I need to clean your wounds" I said softly still shaking him
He groaned a couple of time until he finally opened his eyes "C'mon, shirt off" He nodded sitting up and taking his shirt off.
"Uhm, are we interrupting" I look to who said that and saw Tommy and Techno standing infront of Wilbur's bed. I looked back at Wilbur who had his chest exposed.
"Your not. Now Will, lay down on your chest" I said getting everything ready.
Wilbur nodded and flopped on the bed which made me and Tommy chuckle. I put my hair in a low pig tail so it wouldnt be in the way. Some hair strands would fall to my face but it didnt bother much.
I grabbed the supplies I needed, putting on gloves first in case if I get infected by something. Putting the supplies to the side and started to work on his back.
~ 15 minutes later ~
I threw the gloves away. Set the medical supplies in my e-chest and let my hair down.
"I never knew you were a doctor Y/n" Tommy spoke in surprised
"No but I can put you in the hospital if you want" I handed Wilbur a yellow shirt. Wilbur took the yellow shirt and putting it on. Wilbur sighed and layed back down
"Y/n can you work on the ravine" Wilbur spoke ever so softly
I yawned but agreed "Yeah, I'll work on it" I said as I left the room.
I stretched my back and yawned one more time, taking out my netherite pickaxe and some torches. And so j started to work on the ravine.
After a few minutes of decorating. I heard someone walk up behind me. I unsheathed my sword quickly but quietly, turning around and putting the sword to the person's neck.
"I see you still have it in you" Techno said with his arms up
I sighed, putting my sword down "Always."
Techno chuckled "Wanna help me with something"
