"ACK DON'T YOU KISS ME WITH THOSE COLD LIPS-"

Germany leant away while his boyfriend burst out laughing, still keeping his hands on his cheeks. Russia grabbed his waist to steady him and pretended to lean in to kiss him again, making him yelp and squirm, a big smile on his flushed face.

"Aww please?" Russia whined, breathing out a white cloud of mist as he talked. The sky was getting cloudy again, and the bare bit of warmth that was brought by the sliver of sunlight was disappearing. Germany thought for a moment, tugging the scarf around his boyfriend's neck tighter so that he stayed warm. "Yes, but only after you warm up."

"But I'm not done." Russia protested, gesturing to their half-cleared driveway. "It's going to snow again later anyway, and you're freezing cold right now. You, are going to get inside, right now, and sit down while I get you something warm." Germany said firmly, and proceeded to grab his cold hand to drag him back into their house.

He huffed with pretended annoyance and let himself be led back, propping up the shovel at the door to be used later. The first few snowflakes were already starting to fall again, and he reached out a hand to catch some. Germany noticed and blushed discreetly, somewhat reluctant to take him into the house now, when out here, he just looked so, in his element.

"You done taking everything in~?" He snapped to attention and stared back into Russia's playful eyes. Flustered, he quickly dragged him into the house and shoved him onto the couch with a quick "Stay here. Don't move."

Russia grinned and grabbed his wrist before he left, gently turning his hand around and pressing his cheek against his palm again as an act of thanks. It was also an great way of sending his easily flustered boyfriend's heart skyrocketing to ungodly levels of feelings. Germany blushed impossibly red again and patting his cheek shyly before Russia released him and allowed him to go to do whatever he planned to do.

The smaller countryhuman walked into the kitchen, and when he was certain he was far away enough from his lover, hid his warm face in his hands and groaned loudly, pacing around the floor a few times to release the swell of bubbly love rising in his chest. There was a stupidly wide grin on his face though, and he knocked his forehead against the cupboards, thinking of just how much he loved him.

A few minutes later, he got himself together and had a bunch of ingredients out and prepared for cooking, not before he went out to check on Russia first. He had apparently left the couch to go curl up by the radiator, eyes closed as he dozed against the wall. Germany smiled fondly and went upstairs to collect a bunch of blankets, along with as many pillows he could carry along with them.

His boyfriend stirred slightly when he dropped the pillows close to him, gently wrapping a thick fluffy blanket around his body. Russia hummed and shuffled the objects around by himself, and Germany went back to the kitchen to prepare their drinks.

Snow was steadily falling down from the sky outside now, covering more of the surrounding area with it as more clouds arrived. Looks like they would be stuck inside today, with only each other for company. That wasn't too bad, they could have time to catch up.

He picked up two ceramic mugs filled with creamy, brown liquid and topped off with whipped cream, one sprinkled with mini marshmallows and the other without. Russia was now comfortably tucked in his own demise of a blanket burrito, surrounded by a sort of nest of pillows and other spare blankets.

"Ooh that smells really good-" He said, struggling to free his arms from the cocoon of the blanket and take the mug with marshmallows from Germany. The smaller grinned and handed it to him once he was free, and sat down next to him with his legs tucked up his chest, enjoying the extra warm air that came directly from the radiator.
