Chapter 57: Wonderful Distraction

JAE/JAGER'S:

Whoa. Did she just kissed me?

I'm so pissed earlier because of what Blythe did, but the moment Khaki kissed me ay nawalang parang bula ang pagka-badtrip ko. Blythe DID ruined my first kiss but Khaki's lips tasted so sweet. Hindi kaya...?

"Am I your first kiss Cassiopeia?" nandito na kami sa labas ng Chasm matapos nya akong kaladkarin palabas.

"What do you think JAE?!" she blushed.

"I really am. Sweet lips. Besides hindi ka marunong –"

"Shut up JAE or I'll punch you. I'm serious," she cuts in.

"Okay, okay as you wish my rock princess," I grinned.

"Where's your car?" nagpalinga-linga pa siya at hinahanap ang kotse ko.

"Few steps behind you Cassiopeia."

"Let's go."

Hinawakan ko ang kamay nya at papunta na kami kung saan naka-park ang kotse ko nang biglang sumulpot si Graysen na tumakbo papunta sa'min.

"Hey Khaki wait!"

"What is it Gray?"

"Your things. They're in my car."

"Oh yeah I forgot." she scratched her forehead.

"Wait here I'll get it for you." pinuntahan naman ni Gray ang kotse nya.

"Why Gray's with you?"

"I saw him at the mall earlier."

"And then?"

"We received a text message at the same time. With the same message alert tone." she crossed her arms.

"Funny." I shut myself not to laugh.

Tinaasan naman nya ako ng kilay. Minsan talaga nakakatakot 'tong si Khaki baka kasi bigla na lang akong suntukin nito.

Nakabalik na ulit si Gray. "Here."

"Thanks Gray. We better go now. Ikaw na ang bahala kay Blythe."

"I will. Take care," he nodded.

"Let's go JAE, I'm pretty tired."

"Want me to carry you Cassiopeia?" I teased. Napangiti tuloy si Gray.

"Sweet couple. I'll go ahead." Gray headed back to his car.

Piningot naman ako ni Khaki. "Puro ka kalokohan JAE!"

"Ouch! Tara na nga," bago pa siya makapag-protesta ay binuhat ko na siya. Bridal style.

"Hey, put me down!"

"How 'bout no?"

"JAE!"

"We're here rock princess," I put her down and open the car's front door.

Tinitigan nya ako nang masama. Ang cute nya pa rin kahit naiinis na siya.

"Hop in."

"Fine." Padabog naman siyang umupo."

Can't help myself from grinning while driving. We're heading home after that freaky incident. Damn. Khaki's got cherry lips.

"What are you grinning at?"

"Nothing."

"Okay." she pouted.

"Don't pout Cassiopeia. Your lips are tempting," I looked at her.

"Focus your eyes on the road JAE."

"I can't help it but to stare back at you."

"Am I a distraction?"

"Yes. A wonderful distraction Cassiopeia."

She blushed again.

"Wake me up kapag nasa bahay na tayo."

"Aye, aye Captain!"

She closed her eyes and I turned my gaze to the road again.

I stopped the car and glared at the wonderful distraction beside me. Ang sarap ng tulog ng isang 'to. Kasing sarap ng mga labi nya. Hindi pa rin siya aware na nandito na kami sa tapat ng bahay nila dahil mukhang malalim ang tulog nya.

Inilagay ko sa tainga ng ang ilang hair strands na nakaharang sa mukha nya. Napatingin naman ako sa mga labi nyang wala man lang bahid ng lipstick.

So tempting.

I want to kiss her.

I leaned closer but she opened her eyes.

"What?"

"Just want to tell you that we're alredy here."

She looked at the window. "Yeah. Thanks for the ride JAE."

Akmang bubuksan nya ang pinto ng kotse but I stopped her.

"Let me do the honors."

Lumabas ako ng kotse at ipinagbukas naman siya.

"Thank you."

"I'm more willing to serve you, my rock princess."

She smiled.

I winked back.
