"hey babe we have an interview today" Jack tells me
"oh can we come" i ask talking about me and our daughter
"of course you guys are just going to have to stay in the back. just in case she starts crying i don't want to interrupt"
"of course but she never cries"
"that's what you think"

it's now time for the interview and me and our daughter Adley are in a back room with a couch and a tv showing the interview
as we're watching the interview she suddenly starts to cry
"oh no" i say to myself
"hey stop crying" i repeat as i move her around my leg
"dada" she cries
"he's over there don't worry. shh" i move her to face the screen and i point at Jack
"want daddy"
"you can't have daddy right now he's busy"
she continues to cry and cry and i decide to leave the room with her and find their managers
i find his manager and she is still crying
"is everything okay?" he asks me
"no she's screaming and crying for Jack. do you know if they're having a break soon"
"yeah in about a minute do you want to go and bring her to him"
"can i. that's the only thing that will stop her"
"of course"
he brings us over to the interview room and let's us in
as soon as Adley sees Jack she stops crying and smiles, while reaching to Jack
he immediately walks over and grabs her
"oh my god what happened" he says looking at her tears
"she was crying for you the whole time. i needed to bring her to you"
"aww."
he kisses her cheek and she smiles
"we have to go back to the interview soon" he tells me
"ugh she's just going to cry again. what do i do?"
"well they only show our faces i can hold her and they can just crop her"
"if that would work"
"it will watch"
he walks away and tells everyone what's going on
they all agree and they begin to continue the interview
as the interview goes on she stays smiling and doesn't cry once
by the end of it Jack looks at me while winking and mouthing
"i knew it would work"
