You're going on your first date tonight with this boy Corbyn that you met while looking for a book to use for your astronomy project. You guys used to be best friends in elementary school but he moved and you lost connection
You both found this one book about why Saturn has rings and you found it perfect for a project and he wanted it just to read in his downtime. you both took it at the same time from different parts of the bookshelf. you both insisted on the other getting it but he suggested you guys would just share it. he would help you with the project as he's reading it.
when you guys finally finished the project you guys were best friends again. after you got an A on the project he asked you out a date to "celebrate" your grade. you knew it was just an excuse for him to go on a date with you but you agreed anyways
he picks you up from your house
"so y/n I was thinking about how in 6th grade we would go laser tag every weekend. so I figured we would do that"
"omg I loved and always looked forward to that it was so fun. but remember I always won." you respond
"haha funny joke im pretty sure you won once anyways we'll see who wins this time"
you guys get to the place you guys always used to go to and go play
after an hour of playing you guys were tied and the time was ending but you guys were to focused on seeing who's better that you tried everything to win before the other could. you guys did all the childish things like tripping each other and saying that the others shoes were untied
after constant tries he runs after you bringing you into a corner where you can't back up or run away anymore. he puts the laser gun down and kisses you. you smile as he backs away from you. before you walk away he quickly turns back around and shoots you winning the game
