It's been two weeks since you asked Daniel about the dog and he hasn't brought it up in a while
You try to ask but he quickly changes the conversation
Right now you guys are laying in bed together your head on his shoulder as he scrolls through Instagram just like he does every night
He comes across the cutest dog ever and your eyes light up
"OMG Daniiiii he's so cute" you say liking the picture
"Yup"
"I really want a dog"
"Seriously this again"

"One day we'll get one I promise"

"Well that's when we will get one"

He goes past the picture and continues his nightly instagram scroll
You calm down from being mad when he gets a text that catches your eye
Corbyn- have you gotten him yet
He quickly removes the text from the screen and puts his phone away

You open your eyes and wait for them to adjust to the light when you see the smallest, fluffiest, cutest, puppy ever licking your cheek
"Oh my god you're so cute" you speak to the dog
It closes its eyes and sleeps on your chest making you aw
You think you're dreaming so you pinch yourself however, all you feel is pain showing it's real
You whisper 'oh my god' again and look to your sides not seeing Daniel
Confused you pick up your puppy and carry him downstairs where Daniel is waiting for you
"How'd you sleep" he smirks
"Daniel James Seavey I love you so much. When did you get this. where did you get this. why did you get this. what even gender is this"
"This is y/d/d/n (your dream dogs name) and he is the fluffiest dog I could find from the nearest animal shelter"
"Thank you thank you thank you" you say running over to him and kissing him everywhere on his face
