"Pick a card any card at all" you say showing Zach your favorite magic trick
"Okay I choose Umm this one" he says taking a card out of pile
"And now look at it but don't show me. Look at it really seriously and focus on what it is. You need to remember the EXACT number, suit, and color."
"Okay I did that"
"And now put it in the middle of the pile"
He puts it in the middle of the pile and you shuffle the cards a little keeping your finger on the card so you can locate it later
You shuffle the deck till his card is the first one when you see the cards
"What now" he asks
"Now I want you to think really hard about your card okay."
"Okay done"
"Say a letter"
"Z"
"Now a number"
"69"
"Seriously"
"What you asked for one"
You continue asking him to say things that you know have no relevance to the card.
"Okay now one last thing. Tell me your favorite thing about me"
"Hmm let me think...the fact that you're just stalling because you know you don't know where my card is"
"Not true its important to the game. If you don't say you're favorite part about me then well we break up and youll never get to know if my magic trick worked or not. And that would be unfortunate. I wouldn't do that to you. Now answer the question"
"Okay my favorite part about you is... well I really like your hair and how soft it is and how good it always smells but I also really like your eyes and how if I look in them I can see everything. But I also like your voice it's so soothing especially at night. But I guess if I HAD to choose a favorite part it would be your hands. They're always so soft and the fit perfectly in mine when we hold hands."
"Okay Romeo" you say sarcastically at how romantic he's being
"Who's Romeo are you cheating. And with a Romeo wow" he says fastly
"Zach..Romeo. Romeo and Juliet. I was calling you romantic that was cute"
"Oh well back to the trick I want to see if it worked"
"Okay is this your card" you say pulling out his card and showing it to him
"OMG OMG IT IS HOW DID YOU DO THAT WOAH WOAH AHHH. BOYS SHES A MAGICIAN" he yells towards the boys as they walk down the stairs to go somewhere
They look at him like he's insane
"It was all because you told me your favorite part about me"
"Okay Okay Maybe it was just a one time thing..do it again" he says insisting you try it one more time
You do the magic trick again and of course pick his card
He makes you keep doing the trick 5 times and you always get it right
"I can't believe this you're so good at this"
"Haha thanks" you say shuffling the cards
"Can I try" he asks
"Sure" you say handing him the cards
He does the trick and he doesn't pick your card
"Is this your card" he says holding out a red 5 of hearts
"Nope"
"Are you serious.. but you answered the important questions"
"I don't know but mine was black"
"Okay I'm trying again"
He tries again and doesn't choose your card
He continues to try the trick but never gets it
After 11 tries you finally become tired and look at the time
"One more time I promise I'll get it" he says
"babe it's 1 in the morning"
"But I'm determined to get this right" he says somehow full of energy
"Fine try one more time"
He tries again and still doesn't get it
He still keeps trying and after 5 more tries he doesn't get it right
"Okay come on I'm tired we can finish in the morning"
"One more time.. please" he says in the sweetest voice where there's no way you could say no
"Fine but one more and then we're going to sleep"
"Okay"
He tries again and of course does not get it
"THATS IT. IVE HAD ENOUGH. I GIVE UP Y/N YOU WIN"
"FINALLY SLEEP" you say taking the cards from him and putting them away
You guys go upstairs and start to fall asleep
