"you look sad whats wrong" you ask your best friend Daniel after you notice he looks upset

"nothings wrong what do you mean" he says smiling fakely

"Daniel.. I know when somethings bothering you please talk to me about this" you say sweetly

"I-im fine" he says his voice cracking

"fine be that way was just trying to help" you say getting up from where you guys were sitting

"wait y/n come back...please" he pleads with you

"what.. are you going to tell me whats wrong or continue to say you're fine"

"I need to tell you something important."

"yes..?"

After a couple seconds of silence he finally speaks up

"I-I can't tell no No I can't you you'll stop talking to me" he says

"No I won't I promise"

"You say that now but when you hear what I say you will"

"How about this... I promise no matter what you say even if you killed someone I will never stop talking to you."

"O-okay Umm well it's just" he says hesitating

"Come on I promised I won't stop talking to you"

"Fine..I like you. Not as friends as much more. I've liked you for so long and I've never had the chance to tell you. But recently I've just been thinking about how better my life would be if we were together and that's why I was upset. I was upset because I know you don't like me that way and you just think of me as a best friend." He says rambling

You don't say anything for a while because you are in shock at what he told you

"Y/N you said you wouldn't stop talking to me. I knew I shouldn't have said anything. Ugh I'm so stup-" you cut him off by kissing him. The one thing you've always wanted to do but were afraid of actually going through with it just happened.

You pull away and he looks at you confused

"I-I don't understand" he says

"Daniel..."

"Yes"

"I like you too"

"Are-are you serious" he says

You nod your head and he hugs you

"Will you be my girlfriend"

"Yes" you whisper kissing him one more time
