"I'm in love."

Rose doesn't look like she's believing.

"Bakit you look lost? Where's Star?"

She rolled her eyes and make dukmo again sa table. "Ang bilis mong ma-in love."

"What's there ba not to love kay Brix?"

"Ewan ko... siguro dahil ang bilis lang," sagot ni Rose.

"Sus, parang kayo ni Lego?"

Biglang umupo ng maayos si Rose bago ako hinampas sa braso then she make dukmo ulit.

"Gawd, that hurts."

"Don't make tukso me," she said that made me laugh.

"I won't tukso you if you will make kwento na. Why are you puyat?"

"I have work, 'di ba?" she replied flatly.

"Then, after work?"

Rose snorted but look at my side. She then sits up and made different faces before she talks.

"Huwag na kayong tatambay sa Jollibee," she said that made my heart a little sad.

"Why?"

"Wala akong panukli sa pera ninyo eh."

I chuckled. "Sige magdadala ako ng barya next time. Okay na ba ang 500?"

Tumawa ng malakas si Rose na ikinatingin ng mga tao sa paligid namin. "Tungnu, barya sa'yo ang 500? Ano ang tawag mo sa coins?"

"Ugh, I don't keep coins." Naguguluhan ako sa kanya. "So ano ang kwento why do you have eye bags that can compete with pandas?"

Napabuntong hininga si Rose. "Nagpunta ng Jollibee si Lego."

"I knew it. So, ano ang chika?" Excited na tanong ko.

"Wala—"

"Try mo kayang kausapin," she suggested.

I smiled and encourage Rose to talk.

"He can't sleep," she stated.

Tumanga-tango ako. Figured.

"And he looks lost."

Because of Kyla the bitch? God, I hope she rots in hell.

"Hindi naman din nagsasalita si Lego. He was just... there." Nagkibit ng balikat si Rose. She doesn't get it? Why a man like Lego will stay if there's nothing?

"Wala siyang kinuwento?" I carefully asked.

"Like?" balik na tanong ni Rose.

"Like stuff?"

"What kind?" naguguluhang tanong ni Rose.

"Ugh— never mind nga, Rose. I feel like I'm a dentist pulling tooth on you." Baka magalit si Lego sa akin if I make kwento si Kyla.

Ngumiti si Rose at bumalik sa pagkakadukmo.

"Huwag mo akong tulugan, Rose." Inuga-uga ko si Rose but she fake a snore.

At that moment, Ken, Rai, and Lego went to our table.

"Rose—" the two Japs shouted that made Rose jump from her seat.

"Putang..." Hawak ni Rose ang puso niya nang mapabangon bigla. Hindi niya natuloy ang curse when she saw Lego.

Shit, sabi ko na... may spark.

"Puyat ka na naman," tukso ni Kenshin kay Rose.

Hindi kumibo si Rose. Ang cute lang tingnan. Lego is staring at her and she's oblivious.

"Ikaw, Mitchie... ano balita sa'yo?" Raiden asked.

"Well, I'm in love," I proudly replied that made these two laugh. "Ano kaya ang funny do'n?"

"Sino ang boylet mo?" tanong ni Ken.

"Si Brix ng Overdrive," I replied proudly again.

"Tanda na 'yon—"

"Hindi Ken. Over ka. He is matured."

"Bagay sa immature mong personality?" The nerve of this Japanese descendant?

"You mean, immature like us, Raiden?" I countered back.

"Rose—" tawag ni Ken.

"Ken, she doesn't want us to go back to Jollibee," I cut him off. I secretly look at Lego. His eyebrow formed V on his forehead.

"Bakit Rose? May boylet ka rin do'n?" pangungilit ni Kenshin.

"Nahihirapan akong suklian kayo," sagot ni Rose.

I saw how Lego smile a bit from her reply.

"Eh 'di keep the change," Raiden commented.

Rose look defeated that made Lego smile even more. The smile leaves on his face when Rose's phone ringed.

"Mitch, mamatay ako ng maaga sa mga tumatawag sa phone mo," naiinis siyang ibinigay ang phone na nagriring sa akin.

Number lang so I answered.

"Hello—"

"Sino ka?" tanong ng babae sa kabilang line.

"God, this is getting old. Don't call this number bitch." I ended the call and blocked the number. "Sorry Rose, mukhang maraming babaeng nabiktima ang ex ko."

"You gave your ex's used number to Rose?" nakasimangot na tanong ni Lego.

Oh dear, mukhang mapapagalitan ako ni Lego.

"Yeah, sayang ang line—"

"So, ilan ang tumatawag d'yan?" Lego asked like I did something wrong.

"Ugh, I dunno. Ilan ba, Rose?" baling ko kay Rose.

"Marami," sagot ni Rose na mas lalong ikinagalit ni Lego.

"Luh, why are you angry?" I asked Lego. Napatigil siya bigla sa pagdampot ng cellphone ni Rose.

"Oo nga, bakit affected ka?" tukso ni Ken na ikinapula ni Rose.

Hindi kumibo si Lego at biglang nag-walk out. Tatawa-tawang sumunod sila Ken sa kanila. Rose exhale loudly when they left.

"So, what's the score? Kwento ka na kasi," tukso ko kay Rose.
