Chapter 29 Shooting In India

Jessica's pov

In the morning I had to wake up early for the flight. I had packed everything I needed for the trip last night. I followed the same routine and asked my driver to get my luggage since it was very heavy. We walked down. I saw Dan standing there waiting for me. Yesterday's meeting was about the teams and groups we were going in, to the airport. The cast was going in one plane and the crew in the other. Dan, Donna, Kabir and me had our seats together.Dan and I headed to the airport in the same car with our luggage. We were a bit late for the flight so we hurried and checked in. Dan and I sat together and Donna and Kabir sat together in front of us. After we settled in the air hostess came to us with breakfast.There were sandwiches and cookies for food and juice for drinks.We ate our breakfast. Then Dan pulled out a magazine and I opened the novel I was reading recently. It was about two people who were in love with each other but did know how to tell each other that they loved each other, since they thought that the person they loved did not love them back . It was like my life story. We were going to reach India in six hours and twenty eight minutes but for some reason the flight time was extended one hour more. Reading the novel for 2 hours made me sleepy. I dozed off to sleep.

Dan's pov

She looked sleepy when my magazine was over. I bent forward and grabbed a packet of cookies which we had gotten from the air hostess. I took it and rested back after I finished it. I took out the magazine and started reading and suddenly I felt something on my shoulder. I looked at my left to see Jessica's head on my shoulder. She was fast asleep. I thought to myself that she looked more beautiful and cute while sleeping. I got a smile on my face. I slowly moved my hand to her hair and pushed a strand of hair behind her ears. The flight's temperature was quite cool so I put my coat on her. After a long journey we finally arrived in New Delhi. We reached the restaurant near the airport and ordered some food for lunch. Finally all the cast and crew gathered together. We all sat in our taxis and headed to the hotel. Our hotel's name was Leela. It was an apartment room. Just beside the hotel was a mall called the Ambience mall. We all checked in the apartment allotted to us .

Jessica's pov

I was allotted an apartment with Lizzie and Dan was with Lucas. The apartment had two rooms and a lobby with a huge kitchen. The lobby also had a tv and three comfy sofas. It was more than enough space for three people.We rested until four in the evening. After that almost the whole cast and crew went to the mall. I asked Dan if he wanted to come with me to the mall. He agreed and we headed to the mall. We had coffee at a coffee shop. After that we shopped for about an hour in the stores and explored the whole mall. I got some nail paint colours, a cute bracelet and an outfit. Dan bought a wrist watch and a pair of shoes. We headed back to the hotel. Took a rest since I was very tired since the morning. Lizzie and I watched some tv. Later that evening I got a call on the landline. It was Dan who told me that the director had called the whole cast to his apartment for having fun at night games. He also told me that we had to come at about ten at night. I told Lizzie everything. She looked very excited. We had our dinner at nine. We changed to some comfortable clothes and walked to the director's room. It was ten fifteen. We all had a lot of chit chat and laughs. We even played truth or dare. When it was midnight. We all bid each other goodnight and went to our rooms.
