Chapter 5 Fantasy come to life

We woke up in the morning at about eight in the morning to some screechy whistle noises. After my eyes were open I woke Natalie.As we both went out, we saw all of the seniors waiting in a line. We went and joined them. As we waited for the rest to join I could not take my eyes off a guy who was standing with the professors. I had never seen him before at school. He had flawless skin, big hazel eyes, his hair was parted to the right and he was just the perfect boyfriend material. After they all had joined, one of the professors spoke. As he started by admiring the day, I noticed a girl on the other side of our professor. When he was done admiring the day, he started to introduce the girl. She was the scholarship student. Her name was Amelia. She was the prettiest girl I had ever seen. She had hazel green eyes and her hair was laid perfectly on her shoulders. She wore nothing but an oversized sweatshirt and a pair of jeans but looked so cool. Her face was shaped perfectly and her smile was contagious. made my heart flutter. He wore a high neck sweater and a pair of slim jeans. There was a jacket tied around his waist. It looked casual but stylish. I waited to hear the guy's name. When I heard it, I slipped from the stone I was standing on to see the guy better. He was Dan. Yes, the actor Dan. As I slipped, I let out a cry. The professor stopped talking and looked in my direction. I was embarrassed. I had a very bad first impression on Dan. As Natalie helped me up, Dan smiled at me. I lowered my eyes.I was so red that I think I might have looked like a tomato. After the professors were sure that I was doing fine he asked the seniors to come and help him with the breakfast while we freshened up. All the while, the only thing on my mind was Dan. As we were deciding what to wear for the day, Suzy came in running with a newspaper in her hand. Her face looked very excited to tell us something. She pulled Natalie and me to a corner and spread the newspaper on the floor. I did not know what was going on but Natalie seemed to understand. She pointed to a picture in the far left corner. It was a picture of a movie. It was going to be released very soon. There was nothing very special about the picture except for two things. Dan was to be starring in the movie and the shooting was going to happen in our school. I started dancing with joy.(not my friend- Joy) We were still thinking about the fun we were going to have with all the shooting going on when we looked at our watches realising how late we were. We put on some decent clothes and rushed out. We had some egg and bacon with toast. After breakfast the professor asked us to get in a group consisting of two guys and a girl. As I was looking around to see who I could be in a group with, I heard two voices from behind. Both asked to be partners with me. I looked behind to see Dan and Ryan looking at me with smiles on their faces waiting for my reply. I had known from before that Ryan would definitely want to partner with me but Dan asking to partner with me was a shock. I almost slipped again. As I was gonna fall to the ground, Dan bent forward and slipped his arm around my waist. We were just one cm away from each other. He whispered in my ear that it was the second time I was gonna fall that day. He pulled me forward and grinned. Ryan looked flushed. I suddenly felt guilty towards him and agreed to be his partner. I saw Natalie looking at me with a grin on her face. I blushed and turned around. As we walked to the counter to register our names, a man in black ran to Dan and whispered something in his ear. Dan looked pleased and smiled widely at the man. As he turned to me, we heard our professors asking us to register our names fast. After we had registered our names, it was not that awkward. Dan told me that the directors of the movie were going to choose an actress for the movie from our school but they were not going to have an audition for choosing us. I was excited but I was camera shy those days. When we were almost ready for the treasure hunt, Mia walked towards us. If you do not know who Mia is, I will tell you. Mia was the leader of the mean girls and she was very pretty. She had guys dying for her and of all she was the girls captain. She walked towards and looked at Dan all seductively. Dan did not twitch even a little. She wrapped her hair on her index finger and smiled at Dan. Dan asked if she needed anything. Her face had gone pale but she gave a fake smile. I could hardly control my laughter. She was pissed and she left after shooting me a dirty look. We had a good laugh after she was gone. The professors had made a little twist in the games. He asked all the guys to get in a pair. They had to have a rock paper scissor match to be with the girls. My heart was beating out of my chest. After a couple of rounds, it was finally Dan and Ryan's turn. My palms were sweaty and I was nervous. I was not sure about why I was nervous but I still was.
