Now all you have to do is summon the shadows and issue them some commands. It's kind of tricky but think of it like snapping your fingers. It has to be a conscious thought, like how you activate your suit.
SHADE: (BALLOON)
It's that easy? We can just communicate with them like that?
OBADIAH: (BALLOON)
The connection we have to the Shadowlands grants us that ability, yes.

SHADE TAKES A DETERMINATIVE STANCE.
SHADE: (BALLOON)
Alright, sink or swim. How hard could it be?

SHADE CONCENTRATES; INTENSELY LOOKING OUT INTO AN OPEN SPACE TRYING TO SUMMON A SHADOW PERSON.

SHADE MANAGES TO SUMMON THREE SHADOW PEOPLE.

Dang it, is that all?

OBADIAH PATS SHADE ON THE SHOULDER IN REASSURANCE.
OBADIAH: (BALLOON)
Not bad for the first try but I suppose that I should give you a hand.
Panel 6.
3/4 PANEL SHOWING OBADIAH STANDING NEXT TO SHADE AND EXTENDING HIS STAFF OUT INTO THE AIR.

OBADIAH SUMMONS 100 SHADOW PEOPLE IN FRONT OF SHADE AND HIMSELF.

OBADIAH EXTENDS AN EXPLANATORY HAND TOWARDS THE SHADOW PEOPLE.
OBADIAH: (BALLOON)

SHADE HANDS THE PICTURE OF DANIEL THORNE TO THE SHADOW PEOPLE CLOSEST TO HIM.
SHADE: (BALLOON)

ONE OF THE SHADOW PEOPLE HANDS THE PHOTO OF DANIEL BACK TO SHADE.

Alright, now that everyone has seen the picture. I need you to go searching around Bedrock for this guy. Be as inconspicuous as you can and whichever one of you finds him, come and get me. Got it?

THE SHADOWS ALL LEAVE THROUGH A PORTAL HEADING INTO BEDROCK.
Panel 7.
SHADE TURNS TO FACE OBADIAH.
OBADIAH: (BALLOON)
Now, it's just a matter of time. What are you gonna do now?
SHADE: (BALLOON)
I'm going home. This is the most productive thing that's happened in a while, so I'll count it as a win and get some sleep.
Panel 8.
SHADE HAVING ALREADY OPENED A PORTAL STARTS TO WALK TOWARDS IT.
OBADIAH: (BALLOON)

DRAY: (BALLOON)
