"What the hell is wrong with you?" He yelled once we were alone
"She wont say anything. I promise." I said trying not to make my voice crack
"And how the hell do you know that? Shes in the fucking FBI Carrie." He yelled back
"Because I know she wont. We have this pact with each other about keeping secrets from other people. We swore on this one just like I have sworn to keep hers. Luca you have to believe me on this." I said as tear fell down my face
"Im staying at the pent house tonight." He said upset and slamming the door behind him leaving me alone
"Fuck!" I yelled as Angelo and Gemma now ran into the room
"Where is Luca going?" Momma asked seeing me with tears running down my face
"The pent house. Probably to meet with a divorce lawyer." I said pushing past him as Angelo stopped me
"What do you mean?" He asked now more confused
"I told JJ. I told her everything. I had to tell her I said breaking down and crying
"Why?" Momma asked
"She wont tell anyone. We have this sister pact and we keep each others secrets. This is one that she will keep." I cried as Paul and Marco brought JJ in
"Please dont hurt her. Im the one who broke the rules. I know what has to be done." I cried as Momma held me back from her
"Carrie enough." Angelo demanded
"If you tell anyone we kill her." Angelo said pointing his gun towards me
"I wont tell anyone. Please dont kill her. I cant lose another sister. Her secret about your family will die with me I promise." She said begging as Paul held her and Marco got the torch and metal brand out
"Please make it quick Marco." I begged as Momma lifted my shirt up
"Carrie I dont want to do this." Marco said
"Marco I broke the rules. I deserve the mark of traitor." I said looking at him
"Marco do it." Angelo demanded right when the door opens
"What the fuck is going on?" Luca demanded walking in
"She told the family secret. She gets the mark of a traitor." Angelo said
"I am the one in charge here. Not you." Luca demanded taking the things out of Marco's hand and setting them on his desk
"Momma let her go." He said as I fell to the ground
"Luca I deserve it. Its a part of the rules." I cried as JJ was released and ran to me to hold me
"JJ get off of her." Luca said as she listened
"Lets go home." Luca said picking me up and walking me to the car

"Please give me the brand." I whispered as he drove
"I cant Carrie. I cant do it cause I love you." He answered
"You know its the rules and just because Im your wife doesnt mean I am immune to it. If you dont do it I will have your dad do it." I sighed
"No Carrie. This will be your one shot of mistake. I know what you have done for this family and I believe JJ will not tell anyone after what she saw today." He said as we drove the rest of the way in silence

"I will stay in the guest house." I told him once we walked inside and he just nodded as I went to our bedroom
"What the hell was all of that?" Kat asked just walking in as I put clothes in suitcases
"I broke the families trust. Why are you here?" I asked as she sat on the bed watching me
"Because you are not the only one stupid. I told Kelly like when we first met." She laughed as I looked at her confused
"Some people get to tell one person outside of the family and the men working for us. I was allowed to tell Kelly when we were still living next to her. Luca told you and now you told JJ." She said as I still packed
"I still deserve the mark of a traitor. Your dad was willing to give it to me. So was Marco." I said not looking at her
"That son of a bitch." She said getting on her phone as I ignored whatever conversation she was having and packed up stuff from my bathroom
"So why are you packing?" She asked
"Im moving into the guest house for a while or until Luca gets the divorce papers written up." I sighed looking at my disheveled self in the mirror
"Luca wouldnt do that. He loves you." She said trying to comfort me
"I just told my sister who is in the FBI that I am second of command for the mafia. I would divorce me too." I said looking at her as she leaned against the door frame
"What about Dante?" She asked
"I hope he will at least let me have shared custody." I sighed pushing past her and zipping up all my suitcases
"Carrie dont move into the guest house. This is your house too." She said stopping my hand
"Kat I love you like a sister but I need space and I need to give Luca space." I said finishing and taking them off the bed and walking to leave for the guest house

"Uhg why didnt I redo the decorations in here." I sighed seeing it still the dark modern theme Luca decided on
"Just for a little while." I said to myself as I went to the bedroom
"Carrie. I know you are in there." I heard Momma yell waking me up
"What time is it?" I asked opening the door
"10:30 the next day. Did you sleep all night?" She asked concerned seeing me
"I unpacked and laid in bed. I guess I just fell asleep." I yawned walking to the kitchen and seeing bare cupboards
"Luca told me you moved out." She said sitting down
"Ya. It will give him space he needs from me." I said shrugging my shoulders
"He destroyed his office and your bedroom last night." She said as I looked at her like she grew two heads
"What do you mean?" I asked
"He is upset you told your sister but more upset that you left him." She said
"I didnt leave him. I told him I was going to be here. He nodded his head like ok." I said confused
"He thinks you are going to divorce him and take Dante with you." She said explaining
"I thought he was going to divorce me and take Dante away from me." I said
"You need to go talk to him. He shouldnt be upset at you anymore." She said
"What about you? You were willing to let me get the mark." I asked
"I was only listening to you. I didnt want you to have it but you were so adamant like a true mafia leader. You dont deserve the mark. JJ wont tell anyone and after Angelo threatened to kill you if she did she wont." She said
"Now go see Luca please. Im sure you dont want to redo another room." She smiled as I nodded and walked towards the house
