"You are fucking kidding me." I mumbled in Italian before walking away
"We need to tell her." He responded back
"Fine but I am just sitting here. You better not go to jail." I told him sternly
"I will tell her but just make it seem like its all about the real estate. No guns." He said as I nodded
"You know you can just dismiss yourselves and not speak in Italian right." JJ said wiping the tears away
"JJ why dont you sit down. I need to tell you something." Luca said as she nodded and sat down as I watched and sat across from her
"You cant tell anyone. Your mom, Will or any team member what we..." He said but I coughed interrupting him
"I guess I mean I am going to tell you." He said knowing that I want no part in telling JJ about the mafia
"I am the leader of the Italian mafia." He said as I watched JJ closely
"What do you mean you are? We thought it has been your father the whole time." She said looking between us
"I took over the day Dante was born." He said as she looked closely at me wanting an answer
"JJ you cant say anything." Was all I could say with my voice slightly cracking
"But you both kept saying you werent." She said as I heard a tone in her voice change
"JJ what we told you was true. We dont do anything illegal anymore and we havent since my grandpa took over before I was even born. The money we have is old money as well as from all of our real estate like the hotels and the clubs we own." He said making the twisted truth sound honest
"Then why deny that and just be honest?" She asked
"Because we put on the front like we are still powerful." I said and Luca nodded
"But we have pictures from you two eating with a suspected cartel leader." She said as I remembered the first night I watched two people killed
"They are friendly relationships. He watched me grow up from a young age. No illegal activity happens." He said as I watched Dante on his camera start waking up
"But the tattoo Carrie?" She asked
"Its customary for his family to follow some traditions and that was part of it." I said getting up just as he started crying

"Luca this is serious. The Russian mafia has a huge target on Carrie and Dantes back. I need to know why." I over heard JJ say
"Whats his face was Russian mafia. He took her that one day and she was in Russia until she found a way out and to the Italian embassy. They are plotting revenge against us because he turned up missing." He said as I could feel the tension before walking back in
"Where did he go missing?" She asked as I watched Luca
"Dont tell her." I said in Italian
"Luca I need to know if he is still able to harm your family." She said
"He cant. We made sure of that." He said before I could say something
"Did you kill him?" She asked as no one answered
"I wont arrest you. I need to know if you killed him." She said
"I didnt kill him." He said as I say quietly waiting for the lie to fall into place
"Who did Luca?" She asked
"Not sure." He shrugged before asking if she wanted coffee
"Luca you know who killed him. Was it one of your guys?" She asked before coming over to me to see Dante
"JJ I really dont know." He shrugged pouring out two cups of coffee and getting the sugar and cream ready
"Ok." She sighed before continuing
"Just work with us please. We will take care of them so you can go back being business moguls." She said kissing Dantes head and grabbing a cup of coffee
"So shopping today?" She questioned making everything feel normal
"Yes. That is what I wanted to do. I think we are going to Pittsburgh cause thats the closest high end mall." I shrugged like it was nothing
"Do you wanna go?" Luca asked as we both looked at him
"She might as well. Its added security besides just me and the guys. She can go into the dressing room with you." He said defending himself
"You go into the dressing room with me anyway Luca." I sad as Dante laughed like he knew what I was saying
"I cant just go by myself. I have to bring a team mate." She said smiling at Dante as he smiled back
"Not that old guy please." I said rolling my eyes
"Rossi is pretty cool. I was able to read one of his books for the two months I was locked up. Interesting read and talked a lot about my family." He shrugged
"No." I said firmly making Dante laugh
"Oh my little devil if you laugh like this all the time mommy is mean she is not going to like you when you get bigger." He and JJ laughed as I rolled my eyes and passed him his child that now smells
"Dont worry. I know the perfect person." JJ said following behind me as I went to go get ready

"Its really interesting, that most young people learn to speak English, French or German at school in Italy. But Luca you only know English, French, Spanish and Italian from being born and raised here." The nerdy guy said as I rolled my eyes at another one of his weird ass facts
"Thats because I didnt want to learn German. I figured spanish would be more helpful." He grunted
"Carrie do you speak any other languages besides Italian and English?" He asked and I nodded
"French and Spanish." I mumbled
"Why those two?" He asked
"We spend a lot of time in Paris and Spanish is similar to Italian. It was easy to pick up." I shrugged looking at Dante as I felt JJ quietly laugh
"Shut up." I mumbled to her as her friend kept talking about more random things to Luca
"Why?" I asked as she laughed
"Cause I know you hate talkative people." She smiled as I rolled my eyes
"I would rather have Rossi or someone else at this point." I sighed as Luca made eye contact with me in the rear view mirror
"Reid do you have a girlfriend?" I asked as he quieted down
"Carrie." JJ said warning me
"He wants to know all about our marriage. I only find it fair to know about his love life." I shrugged like it was nothing
"She was killed by an unsub." He said leaving it there as we pulled into a parking spot at the mall
"Fucking finally." Luca said getting out
