Chapter 22

"I want to go home." I stuttered as he pulled me into a tighter hug
"Its safer with him. I know he wont hurt you again." He said as I pushed away from him
"I want to go home." I said stomping my foot
"I know you do. Im going to get Paul to be set up to watch the house." He said trying to pull me back to him
"Luca. I want to go home now." I demanded and pushing past him to get into the car
"Im sorry." Marco said blocking my entrance
"I swear to god Marco. If you dont let me in I will shoot you in the foot." I said grabbing his gun on his hip before he had time to react
"Ah Luca." Marco said timidly
"Carrie put the gun down." He said coming up from behind me
"Take me the fuck home." I said in Italian
"Carrie we cant." Luca said sounding a little choked up
"Luca you are the head of the fucking Italian mafia and you have the power to take me home. Away from him and all of this." I said lowering the gun to now point at Marcos foot
"I promise to visit you every other day and end this to bring you home." He said taking the gun from my hand
"End it now. Or I swear to god me and my baby will never come back home to you." I said walking past him and back into the house and right to my room slamming the door locking it
"Carrie open the door." He said begging from the outside
"No take me home." I said before breaking down crying
"Hunny please." He said knocking again before I heard a click of the door being unlocked
"Carrie I love you." He said pulling me into a hug and walking over to the bed to lay with me
"Dont leave me please. I cant live without you." I said sobbing as he just tried his best to calm me
"You need to calm down. Its bad for the baby for this stress." He said
"Me being here is bad for my baby." I said in between sobs
"Just fall asleep babe." He said as I listened and drifted off

"You are a heavy sleeper when pregnant." Austin laughed waking me off
"Where are we?" I asked noticing I was not in the same room I fell asleep in
"On a plane." He said confusing me
"What are you talking about? I thought we were staying in that cabin." I said sitting up
"That was temporary. My uncle wants us in Russia by tomorrow. We are somewhere over the ocean." He said shrugging
"Wheres Lina?" I asked
"Shes not able to travel cause of her job. Dont worry I have one lined up there for you." He said as I started to hyperventilate
"What about Luca he said he would see me?" I asked in between breaths
"He cant see you Carrie. He is meeting my uncle tonight and he should be dead by tonight." He said easing my worry
"Then why did we leave?" I asked confused
"Because I can never let you go Carrie. You know I have always been in love with you." He said wiping the tears away from my face that I didnt notice fell
"No Austin we are done. You know that." I said pushing it away
"My love for you will never die." He said as I felt him get angry
"Austin stop. We have been over for years. Im married to Luca and you are with Lina." I said trying to back away
"You know we were always suppose to be high school sweethearts. I never loved her like I love you. We can raise this baby together in Russia and have more." He said getting closer
"Austin stop." I said trying to keep him away
"After tonight it will be just you and me." He said confusing me
"After tonight your uncle will be dead and I can be back with Luca." I said standing up to keep distance
"My bad. Luca will be dead tonight not my uncle. Then we can take over your territory and crush the Italian mafia." He said standing up and stalking towards me
"Austin please dont. Please dont kill him or hurt my baby." I said holding my hand there to protect it
"Its our baby. I promise not to hurt our baby. I hope it looks like you and not that Italian brut." He said as I backed into a wall
"You need to eat. I got you a grilled cheese and some tomato soup before we left." He said stepping away as his whole personality changed
"Thank you." I sighed going to sit back down on the couch
"Im sorry I had to do it this way. I just needed you to be mine again." He said giving me the plate
"Ok." Was all I said to keep him from getting angry
"And I am sorry for getting your club destroyed. I know it meant a lot to you cause its where you met Luca. But when you came back home to visit your dad I knew I had to make you mine again." He said as I nodded
"Will I get to see my family again?" I asked as he shrugged
"What does that mean?" I asked as he shrugged again
"You know my mom loved you." I said trying to play along just so I could see JJ for her to get Luca to save me
"Maybe you can in a year. They are use to you just disappearing." He said with a small laugh

Third Person POV
"JJ is here." Marco said interrupting Lucas thoughts as he held a picture of them
"Luca?" She asked surprised to see him in this state of sadness
"You look like her." He said as his hand gripped the picture tighter
"We are sisters. All of us look the same." She shrugged sitting down next to him
"You really love her dont you?" She asked and he just nodded
"Tell me who has her." She said calmly
"Austin." He said standing up and pacing
"Why does he have her?" She asked
"Cause he still loves her. He tricked me last night. I got to see her and she was so scared. She was unharmed but terrified." He sighed stopping in front of his desk
"Where is he? I can get him arrested." She said as he laughed loudly
"Shes almost to Russia. He knocked me out when I was leaving and dumped me back in front of my parents house with a note saying they will be in Russia." He said before clearing his desk
"I can being her back." JJ said walking over to him
"You dont get it. Its between me and his uncle. Thats why it started. He is doing human trafficking in my territory." He said shaking his head back in fourth
"I can arrest the uncle and have he rescued over seas." She said as he laughed again
"No. I will take care of it." He said walking out and leaving her alone in his office
