Chapter 24

"Calm down." Nico said laughing as I could barely sit still
"I have been away from my husband for two and a half months. I have missed him so much." I said wanting to jump out of my seat
"He will touch down an hour after us. We are just going to wait on the plane until then." Alec said and I nodded
"What was it like with him?" Nico asked and I shrugged
"Got slapped a few times for speaking up against him and wanting to go home all the time. Thats all he did nothing more. He would get really sorry afterwards and promise not to do it again." I said as they both tensed up
"Do you remember where you were living?" Alec asked
"About 30 mins away from the embassy." I said looking out the window
"You know we are going to go after him right?" Nico asked and I shrugged
"Is his uncle dead?" I asked
"Yes and because Austin disappeared the Russian mob was forced to all go back to Russia. The remaining members are under close watch and are to be killed if they are to come back into the US." He said as I just nodded
"Is Luca going to kill Austin?" I asked as Alec sighed
"If he gets ahold of him yes or if he stays hidden he will come after you again." Alec said as I shrugged not caring
"If your sister gets ahold of him he is going to prison for life. Its all up to you on who you want to pursue him more." Nico said confusing me
"She doesnt know about the mafia right?" I asked panicked
"No she doesnt and now that you are coming back home she never will. Nico was going to tell her but he needed your vote." He said and I just nodded
"I will discuss it with Luca." I said as the pilot said we will be landing soon
"I heard Luca went crazy." Alec laughed
"Marco told me he was sleeping on his couch in his home couch." Nico said laughing
"Why? We have a nice king size bed." I laughed
"He wasnt able to sleep in your bed without you and you dont like the guest room...." He started to say as I finished it
"Messed up by anyone besides a guest." I laughed knowing its true
"Thats just a weird rule you have. You know you kids is going to be a disaster right?" Alec said as we finally touched down
"Trust me I know he is going to be just like his father." I laughed rubbing my small bump and looking out the window seeing Lucas plane already here
"How?" I asked smiling at them and they both shrugged like they didnt know
"Can he park this thing already?" I asked just getting overly excited as he finally stopped and the flight attendant opened up the side letting the stairs fall before letting me run out to him as he stood there with flowers and a small box. I ran to him and nearly knocked him over
"Im so glad you are home and back in my arms." He said as I held onto him like a koala sobbing at being with him again
"Bello please dont cry. The stress." He said worried holding me tighter
"Its all happiness." I said as I unraveled myself from him
"We are going to stay here for a week before we go back home. I feel like we need some alone time before everyone starts questioning." He said as I nodded agreeing with hime
"No Marco or Paul?" I asked confused not seeing them
"No they stayed at home to watch everything. We have fathers guys for the week and Nico and Alec will be running point on your security here and will be under Paul when we get home. You will now have three guards with you at all times." He said protectively before kissing my forehead and guiding me to the car

"You look skinnier." He commented as I changed into one of his shirts after a long shower
"The food he made was crap." I said quietly before getting into bed with him
"Tell me the real reason why." He said as I looked at him confused
"Carrie I have known you long enough to know there is a real reason behind everything you do." He said as tears feel down my face
"I did it so he could lose some control. Me not eating was my way of showing him he didnt own me. It was stupid and reckless and could have effected our baby. Im sorry." I said as he wiped the tears away
"I know you are. Did you find out the gender?" He asked excitedly
"No cause I wanted you to be there. Lina was in on it." I said as he nodded
"I know. She didnt know he kidnapped you. I sent her to a new hospital in Washington state. The new doctor will be here tomorrow to check everything." He said as I nodded and cuddled into him
"You never opened your gift." He said reaching over and grabbing the box and giving it to me as I opened it pulling out a baby onesie
"Its a plan black onesie." I said trying not to laugh
"Look at the back." He said as I turned it around seeing that it said mini mafia boss on the back
"Oh my god Luca." I said cracking up laughing
"Well he is right?" He said putting his hand on my bump
"He sure is. Just wait until he starts bossing around all your guys around." I said smiling thinking if a four year old bossing around our men
"He better be good at it to take over for me." He smiled as we laid down and cuddled closer

"Hey wake up." Luca said as I slowly opened my eyes seeing him with a tray of food
"I can make that into a sandwich right?" I asked sitting up and pushing my hair back
"I think?" He said confused setting the tray in front of me
"Get it away." I said pushing it away seeing the eggs and orange juice trying to hold back my gagging
"Whats wrong?" He asked confused and I bolted from the bed to empty my stomach in the bathroom
"Carrie what the hell was that?" He asked calmly holding my hair back
"Some foods make me sick. Eggs and orange juice are some of them." I said reaching for toilet paper
"Im sorry. I didnt know." He said as I weakly smiled at him
"Hunny its ok. I understand." I said going in to kiss him
"I love you and all but please brush your teeth. The doctor will be here in an hour." He said laughing as I followed him back to the room watching him remove the plate of eggs and orange juice so I could eat the rest
