"Babe look at me." Luca said snapping me into reality
"I have leggings for you and my sweatshirt put them on." He said giving them to me as I still stayed dazed
"Hospital." Was all I was able to say
"I know but an FBI agent was shot and a police officer was killed that means there is going to be reporters there and they cant know you are related to her." He said slipping the clothes on me
"Paul is going to walk you in and Im going to sneak in from the back. Its our usual hospital so we will be safe once we get to where they have her." He said as we walked to a car Paul was driving
"Hood up sunglasses on." He said holding onto my thigh as I did what he said to do

"Go I will see you in there." He said as Paul got out and to my side of the car hiding me from reporters who didnt pay any attention to me
"Hi my friend is looking for her sister. A Dr. Anderson called." Paul said at the front desk and the girl had us follow him to a private waiting room that had people already there
"You going to be ok? I have to do a security sweep." He said in Italian quietly so the people didnt hear and I nodded yes and took a seat far away from them waiting for Luca
"Who are you this is a private room?" A women asked as I kept my head down
"Look this isnt somewhere you can just come and hang out." A thick Italian voice said before I smelt Lucas cologne
"Luca Derosa as I live and breath." The Italian guy said
"Agent Rossi pleasure. I love reading your books." He said as I knew he was doing his famous get out of jail smile
"Why are you here?" He asked as I looked up and removed my sunglasses
"Well I am with her. My sister in law was shot." He said sitting down next to me and grabbing my hand for comfort
"Sister in law?" The women with dark hair said
"Ya. You know Carrie right? Or did you all not meet?" He asked playing a game with them
"No we havent. We have heard about you but you moved and disappeared when you were eighteen." A dorky guy said
"Where is she?" The southern accent I have always missed said getting into the room
"That was fast." The women said
"Fast flight." He said as I looked back down for him not to see me
"We have a guest." Agent Rossi said as he looked over at me and Luca
"Do I know you?" He asked as I stood up to go over to him with my head still down and my hood still up
"Hi Will." I said taking it off as he pulled me into a hug
"Carrie. Where the hell have you been?" He asked as we pulled away
"I fell in love and fell off the grid to fit into the city. Became a whole new person." I said walking over to a now standing jealous Luca
"Are you married?" He asked seeing my left hand
"Ya we just celebrated our three year anniversary." I smiled looking up at Luca
"So JJs missing younger sister married the next don of the Italian mafia." Agent Rossi said in a contemplating way
"Im Emily." The women finally said introducing herself as well as everyone else
"Carrie Jareau?" A doctor came in and Luca nudged me
"Thats you." He whispered in Italian as I walked over to him with Will and Luca
"You must be her husband and sister." He said as we both nodded
"Doc how is she? Do I need my mother in law and boys to fly out?" He asked as my heart rate sped up
"You might. Shes going to be here for a week or two. The bullets hit her shoulder and leg." He said as I felt Luca tense up behind me
"Ok. Let me call them. What room?" Will asked as the doctor told him and went that way
"Does this have anything to do with you?" I asked in Italian
"No. But I will look into it." He said
"Luca Derosa tell me the truth." I said harshly
"Babe I will look into it but I have a feeling she was working a case. One of the guys in there had a bandage on his arm." He said as we just stared at each other
"You speak Italian?" Rossi asked coming out into the hallway
"Yes. I wanted to be able to communicate with his relatives in Italy." I shrugged hoping my lie would work
"You know he is in the mafia right?" He asked in Italian
"Hes not. Babe lets go home." I said pulling my hood up and putting sunglasses on
"Do you want to visit your sister?" Will asked seeing me leave
"No. Its been five years. Everyone has been able to move on." I said walking away as I heard Luca say sorry and catching up with me
"He said your mom will be here in an hour. She got a ticket already. Your nephews are coming too." He said as we got in the car
"No. Paul home please Im tired." I said sinking into my seat

"Babe wake up." Luca said playing with my hair
"No." I groaned as my head hurt from last nights drinking and JJ drama
"Your mom is here. JJ gave her the address. Momma isnt happy I suggest you take these and we go talk to her." He said quietly as I sat up fast taking the aspirin and getting out of bed

"You better explain!" Momma yelled
"About what?" I asked confused
"Why your family is now all of a sudden showing up!" She yelled back
"I dont know why. I fell off the grid. I dont want them here either. Im happy with this lifestyle. Momma I will fix all of it I promise." I said as she smiled and left us
