Chapter 17

"End it now Luca." I said storming into his office ignoring the new secretary
"Hello Carrie." Angelo said coming and giving me a hug as I pushed him away
"I want this ended now." I demanded looking at Luca as his new secretary grabbed my arm roughly
"You need to leave ma'am. I am so sorry Mr.Derosa." She said pulling at me making me turn around and back hand her as she tightened her grip on me
"It's Mrs. Derosa to you and I am pregnant. Let go of me or else you are fired." I yelled at her as tears filled her eyes and she let go of me
"Sadie. This is my wife Carrie. I am so sorry. Shes not having a good day." He said slipping her a thousand dollars as she left
"Dad give us a moment." He said as Angelo kissed the top of my head and whispered congratulations
"Carrie calm down." He said slowly approaching me
"I wont calm down until you end this new mob Luca. They are attacking my clubs for no reason. They are in a different trade. A disgusting trade but a different one. Shut them down before our baby is born." I said feeling light headed
"Badass mafia women looks good on you." He said with a smile
"I am doing everything possible. Rodrigo wants the down too. They left a dead girl that belonged to his cartel on his daughters door step. We are both going to end it." He said walking over to me slowly
"Luca I dont feel good." I said before running to his office bathroom and letting all of my breakfast out feeling even more light headed
"Im seeing ack spots babe." I said leaning my head on the seat
"Ok lets get you to lay down. I will call the doctor and take you right over to her." He said picking me up and carrying me to his couch

"Hey Carrie wake up." He said as I heard beeping around me and smelling sterilization
"Where am I?" I asked disoriented
"You fell asleep. The doctor said you were dehydrated." He said holding my left hand that had an IV in it
"The baby?" I asked putting my right hand on my stomach
"Is fine. We were waiting for you to wake up to do an ultrasound. They took blood and it came back all positive for being pregnant. We have a baby on the way." He said as I saw his eyes fill with tears for the first time since our wedding in Italy
"Get the doctor. I wanna see him." I said smiling as he listened
"Good afternoon Carrie." Dr. Elias said coming in with a women next to him
"Hi sorry usually its Luca in the bed not me." I laughed making him chuckle
"Ad much ad I love you two I have an official OBGYN who will be taking care of you and the baby." He said presenting her
"Dr. Anderson." She said shaking our hands
"I will let you two be." He said excusing himself
"Lets take a look." She said as I rolled my shirt up for her
"It will be cold." She said after squirting the gel on
"Here is your baby." She smiled as I tighten my grip on Lucas hand
"He looks so healthy." I smiled as tears fell
"You think its a boy?" She asked and we both nodded yes
"We will see in another three months. It looks like you are about a month and a half into it. Any morning sickness?" She asked still looking around
"No just smells and certain taste are making me sick." I said still looking at the screen in amazement
"That is normal. I will get you your prenatal vitamins for you and see you next month. Drink lots of water. There is two of you now." She said giving me a paper towel to wipe my stomach off and leaving us alone
"Luca?" I asked as he kept his eyes on the now black screen
"Ya." He said looking at me
"We are going to be parents." I smiled as he leaned over and kissed me
"I will end this. I promise." He said kissing me again
"Get this shit off me. I wanna go home." I said making him laugh as he paged for Dr.Elias

"So how is everything? Is the baby ok?" Momma asked once we walked in to our house
"Yes momma everything is fine. How did you get in?" I asked knowing she didnt have a key or any of the codes
"Oh Sandy let me in. We have been getting to know each other. She is going to go by Gran still cause of the other grandchildren she has and Im going by GiGi." She said smiling as we followed her to our kitchen
"Carrie." My mom said in the tone that always meant I was in trouble
"Mom." I said confused
"We need to talk." She said walking to her room shes staying in and I followed
