Chapter 10: Start of Something New

Alex's POV..

I was startled at my phone's sudden ringing. An unregistered number is calling, I declined it. I simply don't talk to strangers Because one time, someone called and cursed me. Kesyo daw malandi ako, kerengkeng,

gate crasher. In short, kabit daw nung Cesar, nung asawa niya. Hell. I don't know any Cesar. And I'm not a mistress.

Hindi ako ipinanganak nang mommy ko para maging kabit lang.

Nagpa-sorry naman siya after niya ma-realize na I'm not the bitch she needs to confront. Nakakatawa na nakaka-trauma.

My phone kept on ringing but I always tap the red thing. After several declines, I received a message: Answer the phone!

Aba! Ang kapal nang mukha para mang-utos. Di ko naman kilala tapos uutusan akong sagutin yung tawag niya?

I texted back: Sorry, but I don't talk to strangers, unless you have the courage to introduce yourself then I'll willingly take your call and maybe, if you're lucky enough I would entertain you.

Hence, your intentions should be good. Message sent. I waited. Ang tagal magreply ha. So I just resumed my sketch works.

After what Andrew and I have agreed yesterday, my sketches are now as amazing as before.

 I managed to finish 4 sketches and checked my phone. I received a message, one message that says:

I'm no stranger to you, but I'm courageous enough to introduce myself personally and maybe then, you can entertain me.

Wait for me, I'll be there in a few minutes.:)

What if masamang tao pala ito? What if bigla na lang akong saksakin o kaya tutukan ng baril at patayin dito sa mismong office ko?

I felt my knees weakened. I clinged to my desk for support and spun around as the door of my office opened.

I was shocked. O.O <- - - Yeah, my eyes went that wide. And tears just fell involuntarily. Di ko na napigil. Next thing I knew, he came towards me and hugged me.

Securing me and murmuring words to hush me down. Di na lang ako nagpumiglas pa, I'm too weak to make a protest.

Andrew's POV..

Kanina pa ako tawag-tawag nang tawag sa babaeng yun pero pinapatayan ako ng phone. Kundi niya dedecline, sa voicemail naman ang tuloy. Sa sobrang inis ko tinext ko siya:

Answer the phone!

Hindi ba niya alam na katakut-takot na kakapalan ng mukha ang ginawa ko para lang makuha ang number niya? I even asked her brother for it.

First time kong ginawa ito sa tanang buhay ko tapos papatayan lang ako? Then she texted back:
