It was finally night and I had it with everything that happened today. Lily was sleep, and I had got out a bottle of Ciroc and a glass and started chugging it down like a crazy person. I had the TV down low on mute and of course, he was on the news channel. It would make me sick to my stomach when I seen him.

Knock knock

I changed the channel of the TV and got up to answer the door. It was Trey. Trey was my new "friend with benefits", well one of them. He was brown skinned with dark brown eyes, and had a built defined body, muscular arms. He was about 6'3, and the same age as me. He played football too, for the Eagles and was also a QB.

"I don't think I called for you to come over?" I said before he put his arms around me and locked lips with me.

"I know but what if I needed to see you?" He said kissing on my neck, and pulling my body close to his. We kept on kissing, he shut the door and picked me up making me drop my cup and sat me ontop of the kitchen counter.

"My daughters here Trey." I said as he kissed down my neck and trailed his hands from my hips up to my bra strap. I could feel the sensation make its way down my spine, and the tingles scatter throughout my body. "Trey-"

"Let's just keep it quiet."

"I can't-"

He laid me down and pulled off my shorts and kissed me from the middle of my hips up to my neck, and I could feel the sensations along my spine getting stronger. I let out a slight sigh as I felt his soft lips resting on the sides of my neck.

"You know I can't keep quiet." I said leaning myself up and pushing him off from ontop of me, it was tempting though. But I didn't allow my daughter to meet any of my "friends", especially since she didn't have her father around. Didn't want her to get confused.

"I know, that's always been a problem of yours." He laughed and lifted me off the counter and kissed me. "I'm not mad though, must mean I'm doing something right."

"Shut up," I laughed and put my shorts back on. "How long are you in town?"

"Imma be here for about a week. Got a game on Sunday." He said.

"Who you playing?"

"The Giants, I been working out like crazy, their QB is a beast."

I looked away and went to pick up the cup I had dropped and clean up the mess. When I was done I went back over to where he was as he kept on talking about the next game, I was hoping he wasn't gonna ask me to go, I've gone to three of his games before. Just whenever they were in the town I happened to be in, they'd have me travel a lot with my job.

"You should come to the game though." Damn it, there it was. Now I've gotta make up a lie to why I can't go, I didn't want to see Josh if just hearing his name made me sick.

"Um, I don't think I can make it." I said looking away and going through papers that were on the counter.

"Why not?"

"Lily, if I don't have to work. If I do, they'll have me somewhere else. Busy life being a top journalist."

"Yeah true, I understand." He said walking towards me and I put my arms around him and kissed his soft lips.

"I would make it if I could, maybe next time." He smiled and kissed me back as I grabbed his hand to walk him to the door. "And maybe you can finish what you started one day this week." I put my arms around him pulling him into a tight hug and kissed him goodbye.

"You lucky you can't get it right now."

"Am I really?" We both laughed and he went on back out to his car. I watched him walk off and for some reason I thought of Josh. But I didn't wanna get back to those thoughts, at the end of the day I knew I was over Josh. I know I can do this interview and be completely professional about it, that's just who I am.
