"There's another set of questions here but I don't feel comfortable asking about them."

"Lay it on me." He said leaning back up and looking at me.

"The love questions. The 'are you in a relationship', 'do you have a special someone', the 'have you ever been in love' questions."

"You should know the answer to that last one Liyah."

I jumped up from my bed and shook my head in shock, I looked over at the clock and it was just 10:34am. I was dreaming and having flashbacks of Josh and that wasn't something I wanted first thing this morning anyways, I had a long night. Usually my mornings were taking Lily to school and work, but it's changed since the accident. Since I'm such a top person at my job and so close with Kim, she told me to just come in when I was ready. I moved and sat on the edge of the bed and checked my phone, but nothing important was left for me.

"Good morning gorgeous." The guy from last night said walking in the room with smoothies. Yeah, surprisingly he ended up back here with me, I shrugged and decided to live a little. But my mind kept bugging me that if Josh was here he'd kill the guy, especially being Sabrina's ex husband too, this guy had a lot on his plate and should be happy Josh isn't around. I snatched the smoothie and tied up my hair.

"Oh no, it's time for you to go."

"Why so fiesty first thing in the morning? Are you always like this?"

"Cause that's how this works, I don't even know your name, that's a low even for me."

"My name's Devin."

"Devin, sounds nice." I said sipping my smoothie and turning on the TV, flipping through the channels. Ever since Josh and I were together, I usually got snappy with anyone after nights like that if it wasn't Josh. I just wanted them up and out my face by morning.

"What else you wanna know?" He said smiling sitting next to me.

"Nothing cause you about to be on your way out, you gave me what I wanted at the moment." I laughed and stared at him and he laughed too, cause he knows I was right.

"Alright, alright." He said getting up and putting on his coat, I got up and walked him out to the elevator. "Last night was great, thank you for making the hurt go away for a while." He smiled and pulled me into a hug, I hugged him back and pushed myself away as soon the elevator doors opened.

"Same here Kevin." I said yelling out on my way back down the hall to my room.

"It's Devin!"

"Whatever!" I said slamming the door and made my way to the bathroom to take a shower. Part of me felt free for once, but the other side of me was still broken and hurt, and was still feening for Josh. I got out and got dressed, fixing my hair and grabbed my smoothie and made my way out.

On the elevator I thought about Josh, our moments in here, the happy ones, and the bad ones. At least I wasn't regretting anything from last night, at least not yet anyways. The elevator doors flew open and to my surprise, there was Kim.

"Liyah! How are you feeling? Please tell me you feel alright?!" She screamed so loud that half the lobby could probably hear what she said.
