Getting to know my family more

I wake up to the sound of rustling. Jack is picking up his blanket and pillow.
"I'm sorry for waking you." he says
"Oh no it's fine. I have to start getting ready for the store. So it worked out perfectly." I say
*skip the store day*
I head back to my new house.
"Hi Tiffany!! We are starting to get ready to go to your house so we can pack your things." My mom says.
"You ready to go?" she asks
"I guess I didn't bring like anything." I say
"Everybody load up in the car!" she yells
"Everybody is coming expect for Paul I mean your dad. He has to clean out the guest bedroom here." she says to me
We go outside and see Cole and Jack fighting over who gets the front seat.
"Cole gets the front, Jack you are in the back." Mom says
"Haha." Cole starts laughing
"Cole quit acting like a 5 year old. You're 18." Mom says
We all get in the car and go back to my house.
We sit in silence until we arrive at my house. Cole starts laughing again.
"You lived in this tiny house?" he laughs
"Cole!" mom gives him this stare that shuts him up.
"Since you seem to think it is funny Cole, you can help Tiffany pack her stuff." mom says
We get out and I unlock the door to the house. I head to my bedroom with Cole following. Cole sits on my bed and I head for a small storage room filled with boxes. I grab 4 boxes and head back to my room. I set them down and and head to the living room.
"All you have to pack in the living room is the decorations and picture the furniture stays here. Got it Jack. Oh and put the pictures in bubble wrap." I say
"Ok. I can manage that." he says
"I assume you want me to do the same with the kitchen." mom says
"Yup." I say
I go back to my bedroom.
"I'm sorry for your loss." Cole says
"And I'm sorry for my actions." he finishes.
I just nod and grab a box and start putting neatly folded clothes in the box.
"Just so you know I'm not this mean." He says
"I've just been going through a hard time." he continues to talk
"My girlfriend broke up with me. We were together for 2 and a half years." he says with a frown on his face.
I don't say anything. I grab another box and pack the rest of my clothes in it.
"If you have any questions or ever need to talk about something just let me know." he says
I can't help but smile. I turn around and walk towards. I give him a hug.
"Thank you." I say
He smiles and grabs a box and puts my decorations and other stuff.
"I can finish up in here." Cole says
"Thanks." I say
I go grab another box and head to the bathroom. I put all my makeup, perfume, bathroom needs, towels, and some pictures.
When I'm finished I go to the kitchen.
"Everything is packed and ready to go." mom says
I hear a crash and head to the living room. I see Jack picking up pieces of a lamp.
"I'm so sorry." he says
"Don't worry about it. It was cheap." I say
The lamp really was cheap so I didn't care and plus I didn't like it anymore.
I go to my bedroom and see everything packed.
"Ready to go?" Mom says
"Yup." we all say
We grab the boxes and pack all of them into the car and head home. We unload all the boxes into my new room. It takes about an hour to finish unpacking all my things. When I'm finished I look around and I'm glad with the way everything looks. I fall asleep on my bed
**Austin's POV**
"What's going on with you man?" Zach asks me
"I keep thinking about Tiffany. She is always sad and every time we do something fun she say 'this is the best time I've had in awhile.'. I really want to know why she keeps saying that. I mean I don't know her very well but she is a lot of fun to be around." I say
"Maybe you could ask her." Zach suggests
"She is only 14. So it would be a little weird if I asked her to be my girlfriend." I say
"She's only 14? She looks like she is 17!" he says
"That's what I thought at first." I say
"I don't have any other suggestions for you. I'm sorry man." Zach says
"That's alright I will think of something else." I say
**Tiffany's POV**
"Tiffany. Tiffany. Tiffany!"
I wake up and found Cole sitting on my bed.
"What time is it?" I ask
"Almost 5:30." He says
I look outside the window. It's getting dark.
"Oh. What do you need?" I ask
"You seemed kind of annoyed while we were packing and I just wanted to make sure you were ok." He says
"Well first off things will NEVER be okay." I say tearing up
"Please don't cry I didn't mean it like that." He says and tries to hug me but I move away.
"Just leave me alone right now!" I say
Cole stands up and leaves the room.
**Cole's POV**
"Cole what did you do!?" mom asks
" I just went to talk to Tiffany and she blew up in my face!" I yell
"Well what did you say to her?" she asks
"I told her that she looked annoyed while we were packing her stuff up and I asked her if everything was ok and said 'I will never be ok' and then she made me leave." I say
"Well now you know she is sensitive so be carful with what you say around her because she is going through a lot right now." she says
"Ya." I say and head to my room.
**Tiffany's POV**
3 hours after mine and Cole's fight mom calls us all downstairs.
"Tiffany you haven't eaten anything all day why don't you get something to eat." Mom says
I head to the kitchen and open the fridge to find tons of food. I end up going with pizza and some chocolate milk. I sit at the table and I hear mom talk.
"As Cole has witnessed, you need to be carful about what you say to Tiffany. She came from a big family so she is really close to them. You boys knew her older brothers. So please think before you tell her something." Mom says
"Does she have depression?" Jack asks
"I'm not sure." she says
They continue to talk. Mostly about college for Cole. I put my plate in the sink and walk into their second living room.
"You guys are going to have bonding time!" She says all excited
She lips 'remember what I said' to the boys and leaves the room.
I sit in a comfy chair while Cole and Jack are sitting on the couch in front of me. It is really awkward at first. We are all just looking at the ground.
"I don't hear any talking!!" mom yells
"So..." Jack breaks the silence
"What's your favorite color?"
"Purple or black." I say
"Not to be rude or anything but do you have depression?" Cole asks
"No." I say
"Are you on drugs?" Cole asks
"Since you're calm most of the time." he finishes
"Hahaha. Of course not." I say
"Why is that funny?" Jack asks
"Because everybody always assumes that." I say. That's the truth when I tell people that I don't have depression then they assume I'm on drugs since I'm so calm all the time but I'm one of those people who hide what they are feeling. I know that one day all my emotions will come out of me and I will be crying for days.
We talk for till 10:30pm. We've been talking about funny stories and laughing till out stomachs hurt.
"I'm glad you guys are getting along but it's time for bed." mom says
"Ahhh" we all say.
"Where's dad?" asks Jack
"Oh he had some emergency at work where he had to go out of state so he should be back within a week." She says
"Okay now off to bed!" she says
We all head towards the stairs and climb and go into our rooms. I fall asleep quickly.

I wake up sweating. I get out of bed and go downstairs to get a glass of water.
"What are you doing up at 2:30 in the morning?" Cole asks
I jump and spill the water over the floor.
"Just had a nightmare no big deal." I say
"How did you know I was up?" I ask
"I heard a small scream and footsteps going down the stairs." he says
"I didn't mean to wake you." I say
"You're fine. I couldn't sleep anyways." He says.
I clean up the water on the floor.
"Like I said before if you ever need to talk I'm here for you." He says with a smile and leaves to go back upstairs.
I go back upstairs and stay awake for the rest of the morning playing on my phone.
