Don't know where I stand

Jessie

Today is the last day of school until the new year, and also 3 days until Christmas. I did what I usually do in the morning and went downstairs waiting for either Scarlet or Jahseh, or somebody to take me to school.

"Aye how you make it down here me before me?" Jahseh asked

"Guess I'm fast fam."

"Whatever, let's go!"

"Alright."

We got in the car and listened to some music until we got to school.

"Can you pick me up early?"

"No." 

"Why not, no one does anything the last day of school, it won't matter."

"I said no."

"You're not fun. Can you buy me chick fil a for lunch then."

"Hmm."

This nigga really gotta say yes. If he don't I'm gon cry.

"Sure."

"Thanks."

"Whatchu want?"

"A spicy chicken sandwich and some fries with a vanilla milkshake sir."

"Alright. It'll be there by lunch."

"Lit!"

"Whatever bye, stay positive alright."

"I will, bye." I said getting out of the car

I closed the door and went into the school. After putting my things away I went into my first period. Then I see Taylor. Taylor is white and ghetto as fuck. She got suspended for getting her ass beat, but for some reason the boys love her.

"Ok what's up bitches I know y'all missed me but I'm here now so you can stop cryin." She said taking her seat across the room from where I was

"Who cares." I said not too loud

"If you got some stuff to say, say it to my face." She said looking at me 

I scoffed and continued to work on stuff for my other classes, specifically the song for my music class.

"That's what I thought you scary ass hoe." 

I rolled my eyes and the teacher came in. 

*10 minutes later*

"And then I was, aint nobody finna talk to my bestfrann like that, and so she wanted to fight so I showed her what's up-"

"Can you be quiet?" I said sighing 

It was dead silent.

"Can you not listen."

"I would if your big mouth would shut up."

"You ain't gon talk to me like that."

"Well I did and you can't change the past so sorry hunny boo boo. Damn it's 7:45 and you acting like this for what?" I said seriously

So she stood up and started getting loud. 

"YO JUST BECAUSE HER SISTER'S BOYFRIEND IS XXXTENTACION SHE THINK SHE CAN ACT ANY TYPE OF WAY. NO CAUSE BITCHES LOVE TO SPEAK ON WHAT THEY DON'T KNOW, AND I'M GETTING TIRED OF IT. AND THE THING IS THEY NEVER WANNA FIGHT SO THEY JUST COMING WHEN THEY DON'T WANT NO SMOKE!" She yelled

"Mr C can she leave?" I asked while my hand was raised

"Do I need to call security Taylor?"

"No." She said sitting down

"So your sisters boyfriend is X?" T-Jay asked

"Yes." I said still tryna do my work

"Why ain't you tell nobody?"

"Cause I didn't want to?" 

"Oh it's aight, I won't tell nobody."

"Thanks, but I bet you now that she said it everyone's gonna be talking about it, it doesn't really matter to me."

"Oh alright."

Some time later the bell rang. I grabbed my stuff and went to my next class.

Lunch

I was sitting in T-Jay's group of friends.

"What are y'all gonna do for Christmas break?" Clarevon asked us

"Prolly nothing." Someone answered

"I don't know. But I do know when I go back to school I'ma be bussin." I said laughing

Then I here a teacher call my name. She told me Jah was here and so I walked to the office.

"Here you go mamas." He said handing me my stuff

"Thanks Jawsey."

He hugged me and kissed my forehead.

"I'll see you later." He said 

"Alright bye."

"Bye."

He left and I went back into the cafeteria. I got stared but I got chick fil a so it didn't matter. I sat down and everyone stared at the bag.

"Ca-"

"Fuck no." I said 

"You be so mean to me for what?" Tyler said 

"Sorry." I shrugged

I ate my sandwich and shared some fries. I took a sip from my milkshake and I felt it be ripped out my hand. 

"Christian!" I yelled

He started drinking it and he handed it back. Me and Christian was so close, closer than all of the other boys. I may or may not have caught feelings for him. I mean mugged him and continued to drink from my shake.

7th period

It was the end of 7th and I was waiting for the bell to ring so I can start break already. Then it rang. I was the first one out of class and I used the elevator cause I didn't feel like walking upstairs and I went to my locker.

"Umm Jessie?" I heard someone say

After grabbing my stuff and closing my locker, I see Christian.

"Since Christmas is coming up I figured I should get you something."

"No, I would've gotten you a present." I pouted

"It's ok, but here." 

I saw a box wrapped in my favorite color (blue) when I opened it, I saw a bunch of pictures of us and the gang, there was some candy in there, a PINK gift card, lip gloss and other little things.

"Aww this is so sweet, I love it."

"I'm glad." He smiled

Why is he so cute. I gave him a big hug and he gave me the same energy back which I adored.

"I'll facetime you later alright?" He said

"Ok. Bye." 

He smiled and waved and I went outside to get picked up. Once I got in the car Jahseh's eyes immediately went to the box.

"What's that?" 

"A present someone gave me."

He snatched it and looked through it.

"Who is this?" He asked pulling out a picture of me and Christian

"My friend Chris."

"He's a boy."

"I know."

"And there's more boys, what're you trying to do?"

"Nothing, they're my friends. We're all close."

"I swear if you get pregnant-"

"I'm not!" I sighed

He kissed his teeth and we went home.
