"Scarleeeeeet!" I whined coming into her room
"Yeah?" She asked putting her phone down
"Come to the mall with me please."
"Why? I don't got no money."
"I don't care, I don't wanna go by myself."
"Alright." She said getting
"Let's go!"
"No I need to change."
"You look fine come on."
"I refuse." I said going to my closet picking out cropped pastel spaghetti strap shirt that said babe in baby blue and plain black biker shorts
"Wha-"
"You can wait right here and I'll be done in 5. I already took my shower last night so yeah."
He sighed and jumped onto bed. I went into the bathroom and changed. I put my hair up into a slick high ponytail. I was done in literally less than 10 minutes.
"Alright I'm ready." I said
He looked up from his phone, looked me up and down, and shook his head.
"What I thought I looked cute?" I asked walking over to my body mirror looking at what could he not like."
"It's fine it's just, it's kida revealing. Your boobies are out."
I laughed at the fact that he said boobies. But also confused cause, why he looking?
"It whatever aint nobody looking at me like that anyway."
"I- can you at least bring a jacket just in case."
I turned to face him and sighed.
"If it'll make you feel be-"
"YES! It will."
I chuckled and grabbed a plain black jacket.
"Leggo."
*At the mall*
"Jahseh I'm going to go wait outside."
"What no why?"
"Cause Louie Vitton is for rich people, that's not here, you see all these white rich people I don't belong here." I said crossing my hands
"I don't look like I belong anywhere but I'm here."
"Yeah I'm finna go."
"No. Just stay with me."
"Alright."
"Thank you."
I had like 100 dollars in my wallet. I don't got no job so. He bought like 3 things from here and we went on to forever 21 a place I can actually afford clothes. Long story short, I don't have 100 dollars anymore.
"Ugh, I'm officially broke. Not that I wasn't before but I'm sayin."
"You need money just ask."
I didn't wanna go back and fourth so I just nodded my head.
"Tell me sum ion know about you."
"Um...I use to play volleyball."
"For real."
"Yeah."
"Why'd you stop?"
"Cause I was upset all the time. Weather it be with my dad or my friends I stayed sad."
"Aww, well you should find a team and do it again."
"Nah, I don't think so."
"Just consider it."
I nodded my head actually thinking about it.
