We arrived at a house, it reminded me of ours but more modern.
"It's me and 7 of my friends here so it might be a lot."
"Don't worry I live with 5 boys and a girl."
"Woah, I live with 3 girls and 4 boys."
I shook my head and we got out of the car. He went in front of me opening the door. I walked in first and looked around, the house was clean for the most part. There were shirts and Skateboards posted on the wall. Everyone was gathered in the living room looking at their phones and playing UNO.
"Y'all got that bored y'all brought out UNO?"
"Yes, we black nigga, we'll bring out UNO at you're grandpa's funeral." A guy said
"Anyway, this is scarlet y'all. Scarlet that's, Jay, Bryson, Annie, TJ, Tyler, Kelly, and Addison."
"Hi." I smiled
"Hiiiii!" Addison yelled making everyone look at her
"Don't mind her retarded ass." TJ said
"Hey! At least I didn't deep throat a doorknob!"
"Aye chill with that information."
I snickered and saw that Jamie walk over to the TV.
"You can have a seat if you want?" Bryson said
I walked over to the couch and sat in between Bryson and Addison.
"So...y'all Skateboard?" I ask looking at the hanging board
"Everyone except for Bryson's Scary ass." TJ said
"Bro, I'm just not into it like y'all." Bryson defended
"I wanna learn." I huffed
"Aye we going to this place we skate around tomorrow, maybe you should come. I could teach you, not to brag but I won Skateboarder of the year." TJ said
"Congrats! I'm down."
"Cool."
"You wanna spend the night?" Anne asked
"Uh-"
My phone Started ringing, it was X.
"Excuse me." I said getting up and walking behind the couch
I answered just to see what he wanted.
X: Where are you
S: Somewhere
X: Stop doing that to me Scarlet, believe it or not I do actually care about you
S: I can't tell
X: I wouldn't be calling you if I didn't care
S: What do you want X
X: To make sure you're safe, and stop calling me out my name
S: You don't mean that much to me for me to call by your real name
X: *Sigh* I-I just wanted to know if you were Ok
S:Bye X
I hung up and sighed turning around seeing that everyone was staring at me
"Yo you good?" Kelly asked
"Yeah."
I walked back over to where I was sitting.
"So you tryna spend the night?" Annie asked
