Mon 20th Part 4 - Bullies

I do not own Devil May Cry and Persona, only the OCs that will appear in this story and the concept were inspired by 'Lesson Time: Never follow your teacher home' in 'Vergil's one-shots' by ZerlinaQuinn. So, I hope this turns out okay... now enjoy my guild.

While Vergil and Bucky rush through the pyramid; desperately trying to find Jerome before he's dead. What they find, however, is a bunch of shadows' corpses that are dusting away as if a one-man army managed to slaughtered an entire Empire army. Bucky stares at the corpses and looks back at Vergil.
"Did... Did Jerome really do this...?" Bucky asked in a horrified tone.

> We have to wait and find out.
> Most likely.
> We can't jump into conclusions.

"Most likely," Vergil answered him, "Considering it's only us, shadows and shadow Cara... well, it would make sense it would be him,"

"... Ugh... yeah..." Bucky replied nervously, "I'm honestly worried about him..."

"Why do you even care about him?" Vergil asked, "He's just an ally to you, not a friend,"

"Maybe because a CERTAIN someone isn't worried even though they should be!" Bucky scoffed at him, "I really want to give you a piece of my mind, but right now isn't the time,"

"At least you're smart enough!" Vergil replied.

"Shut up!" Bucky yelled at him back, and turns while running, "Look!"

Vergil and Bucky runs to another puzzle room, but unlike last time, the puzzle is completed... where it shows a bunch of pointed fingers at the same little girl... Cara, who looks like bruises, bandages and cuts.
"... It's that... she... who would do such a thing?!" Bucky yelled angrily.

"If I have to guess, those scars are from those people pointing at her... laughing at her misery..." Vergil calculated.

"Those... Ugh! I hate bullies!" Bucky shouted in anger, "I hope they didn't escape with what they did to a abused victim or else I'm gonna punish them myself!"

"You're going to kill them?" Vergil asked him calmly.

"Of course not!" Bucky replied, "Violence would just make things worse! I honestly don't believe we should solve problems with violence, but with proper punishments depending on the crime. Violence should only be a last resort and for the worst of the worst... at least, that's what I believe in..."

"Hmph..." Vergil quietly scoffed and rolled his eyes.

"... Wait... if Jerome solved the puzzle here..." Bucky muttered as he realises, "Crap! He must have... oh no... I bet the shadow might make him more aggressive or something... possibly... not sure..."

"Then we should really hurry!" Vergil told him.
"Yeah!"

Bucky and Vergil continues running ahead as fast as they could before things escalates for the worse.
