I sigh, tired from training. I'm definitely ready for a shower. This training practice has been brutal. Is that going to be a bruise? I pout.
Grabbing my clothes and a towel, I slip into the shower stall. The rest of the girls file in after me, laughing and talking about their training.
"I feel like I've gotten stronger with my quirk! I feel more in control of it," Mina claps her hands, starting her water.
I nod, looking over at her. Humming a familiar tune as the warm water hits my skin.
One day I set my eyes up to the sky
And like a plane my dreams were passing by
And I awoke to tears that had filled my eyes
I need to spread my wings out and fly
Yaoyorozu picks up on the tune, humming with me. Uraraka laughs from beside her, joining in.
Mina looks up, a bit confused, then begins to sing with us, Hagakure squealing.
I lie awake at night with these memories
Of feeling powerless and they're haunting me
I'm always reaching out for this destiny
To make it happen that's all on me
All of the girls begin to sing. Even Tsu joined in, and soon all of us were belting it out proudly.
Cruel fate sets in motion
And no one else knows why
Waiting for the day to come when will it show up
Claiming what's before my eyes
With every issue I gotta breathe through

They all told me I can't, they were laughing
Well look who's laughing now
The girls begin to get louder, the next part building up as we get more and more excited. We all know this song by heart. We're going to be heroes, after all!
Now I can feel the fire burning deep within me
I'll be the hero and no one can stop me
Loudly I will scream it from the top of my lungs
We wash and rinse ourselves as we sing together, the voices of my classmates singing was like music. Their voices are all so beautiful.
You've got those tired eyes from crying every moment
You cannot hide it, someone's gonna notice
I'll be your hero, no one's gonna hurt you again
I dry off as the song begins to finish, feeling better, even after the beating I took during training.
All the tension had washed away, and I sing happily.
Gonna raise my hand with a peace sign
Our story will last forever
