TW: Sad Patton but other than that, it's fluff skskhydroflasksksk.

Thank you @piximoxietyshiper for the request!

Patton sat on his bed, facing the wall as he continued to get lost in thought. The day was absolutely horrible for the side and Thomas wasn't feeling the best emotionally either. To add to that, Virgil - his boyfriend - seemed to be too busy to give him any attention.

Yes, Patton may have been a bit clingy, but can you really blame him? The others, with the exception of Roman, aren't particularly fond of hugs or any show of affection. He just wanted to hug or be hugged by somebody.

The room was dimly lit, unusual for the bubbly side. The only thing keeping the darkness from consuming the room was a small desk lamp shining next to his bed. Patton silently looked through pictures of Thomas and his friends, going as far back as to when Thomas had his first play date.

Patton hated his room. He hated how it could make him and the other sides feel so nostalgic, almost to the point of never wanting to leave. It was a problem and Patton knew that. But he didn't have the heart to change it. He didn't even know if he could.

A few hours had past and Virgil finally finished his tasks for the day. He noticed how down Patton looked as the day went on and he couldn't help but feel guilty for not paying him as much attention as he usually did. So, in an attempt to make Patton feel better, he made a fort in the living room. With the help of Roman, of course.

Logan found Patton's favorite movie and moved to make his favorite snacks, making sure to add his favorite kind of cookies.

The fort was finished and everything was going according to plan. Now, all Virgil needed to do was get Patton. He made his way towards the emotional sides room, making sure to knock before barging in.

Patton jumped, not expecting the sudden sound. He quickly put the pictures of Thomas away and made sure he looked okay before putting on a smile and opening the door. "Virgil! What brings you here?"

"You seemed down today. Is everything okay?"

"Everything's fine, V, don't worry about me. Just a bit tired, is all."

Virgil saw right through his lie. He sighed and took Patton's hand, leading him towards the living room silently. "Uh, Virgil? Where are we-" Patton cut himself off with a gasp, excitement filling his eyes as he saw the living room and what the others had done to it.

His smile turned genuine, "For me?" he asked, pointing to his chest.

"For you." Virgil led him to the fort, getting under with the other couple and pulling Patton into his lap. He wrapped a blanket around them and held Patton loosely, giving him as much love as he could muster. Soft kisses to his cheek and shoulder, as well as slight squeezes to his waist.

Patton's smile never left his face, "Thank you, Virgil. I appreciate it." he said quietly as to not disturb the other two.

"Anytime, Patty."
