"This was your doing, wasn't it shisui?" Hashirama stared down at the unmoving form of his little brother. Shisui flinched, growing worried at the tone of his voice. He didn't sound mad, but he didn't sound happy either.

"I'm sorry." There was nothing else he could say that could excuse his actions. He was so ashamed of himself. He was an elite shinobi, he shouldn't have freaked out like that.

Rin, who have been quiet all this time, glanced worriedly at him. "Shi-chan."

Hashirama sighed, wanting the heavy feeling inside his chest to go away. "Is he in a genjutsu?"

Shisui slowly shook his head. "...no."

"Alright. I'll just wake him up then." Hashirama decided, chakra coating his hand. He was about to place it on tobirama's forehead, but shisui grabbed his hand effectively stopping him.

Shisui tried not to flinch at the way hashirama was looking at him. "I-I don't recommend doing that," he paused, swallowing the lump in his throat. "My sharingan is a bit special...once I use it, is better to let the effect die down on its own. I promise he is not in any pain whatsoever."

Hashirama stared at him with such an intensity, that made shisui sweat a bit. And for one minute, he actually thought hashirama would hurt him. He let go of his hand immediately.

He gave him a court nod, eyes skipping shisui's and stopping at rin's. "Rin, I leave him in your care."

Said girl jumped startled when her name was called, and gave a jerky nod. "I course, hashirama-sama."

Hashirama stood up from his sitting position, glancing down at his brother, with a loving look. Shisui couldn't help but stare longingly. With a last nod to rin, he exit the room, without even sparing shisui a brief glance. Shisui swallowed, ignoring the way his heart squeezed inside his chest painfully.

A hand grasped his shoulder reassuringly. "Are you okay?" Rin asked gently. Hoping that all of that hadn't hit shisui too hard.

He gave a nod.

Rin didn't say anything more, merely glanced down at the unmoving form of the nidaime. 'What a tense situation..' she couldn't blame shisui for acting like that. They both had been caught off guard in a vulnerable situation. With all honestly, she thought it was tobirama's fault too. He shouldn't have approached them so threateningly. And now, he was unconscious on his own bed. She also couldn't help but be irked at hashirama as well. She knew this was his brother they were talking about, but couldn't he have listened to their side of the story? Instead of assuming shisui was the bad guy and giving him the cold shoulder.

'I'm rooting for izuna.' She decided. In her opinion, the shodaime got points taken off. Shisui didn't need someone who wouldn't trust him and have his back when the time arises. He was hurting him. He was taking someone like shisui, with trust issues and playing him. He was crushing him. Now, she didn't know izuna, but she did know uchiha were extremely loyal. They have one another, they love like no other. Izuna could definitely make shisui happy. She was sure of it.

"Why didn't you let hashirama awake him?" She found herself asking. If he really wasn't in a genjutsu, then why stop hashirama? That would seem more suspicious to be honest.

Shisui sighed somewhat sadly, and sat at the corner of tobirama's bed. He glanced at him, wondering if he had done the right thing or not. "That's because he is technically in a genjutsu."
