Here is the next part!

A blush adorned shisui's face. Embarrassment and shyness was clear on his red face. He couldn't help but feel like that, at being smiled so warmly. Hashirama's thumb was still caressing his knuckles which unsettle him a bit.

"You don't need to thank me hashirama-sama." Was the only thing he could think off. He hoped his voice came out strong and not uncomfortable. He didn't want to offend him.

Hashirama beamed at him, "Now that I'm back to my old self, we need to think on how we are gonna stop the war."

"..we?" He asked a bit surprised.

"Yep! I'm going to stop this war somehow, and you are going to be by my side when that happens." Hashirama smiled big at him.

Shisui in the other hand was ecstatic. He never thought about being part of stopping the war. Or even better yet, helping with the build of the hidden leave village. Finally he now finds a purpose.

"I would very much like that, thank you." He cleared his throat slightly trying to quell down his sudden excitement.

Hashirama sighed. "Unfortunately though, Madara being Madara is going to be against a peace treaty...so we have no other option but to use force." He made a face disliking the fact of hurting his best friend.

"It seems to me that you have tried to make him sign the peace treaty before.." shisui said lightly.

"I have," hashirama sighed again. "But he is too stubborn he won't accept. I have lost count on how many times I have tried before..."

Shisui stayed quiet and sat thoughtfully. Madara Uchiha.. he knew of him, of course. The only man to ever rival the shodaime hokage. The man who once tried to destroy Konoha along with the nine tails. Or at least that's what the village tells you. But since Madara was from his clan, the uchiha knew more than the leaf hidden village knows of him. He had been friends with the shodaime and had been in a difficult situation with the nidaime. He also had a younger brother, Izuna Uchiha. The man who should had become leader of the uchiha after Madara, but who never got to, because he was killed by the nidaime.

That had been the cause of Madara's suffering. The death of his young sibling killed him. And he couldn't help but feel sympathy for the man. He had been friends with the brother who killed his brother. Then, as if it's not enough, the village and the clan outcasted him. Only because he told the uchiha something that proved to be true later on... overall, he lived a life full of suffering. That was too sad.

"...he and I went to war exactly three months ago," hashirama continued not mindful of shisui's silence. "He said no to me that time. And then Izuna injured tobirama, so we had to retreat. Before they left though, Izuna gave me a glare...I don't know what's up with him. I have never done anything wrong...but he appears to hate me. I don't know why-"

"Wait, What?" Shisui snapped out of his thoughts to listen to hashirama's rambling. He had been half paying attention, but he payed full attention when he heard the last part. "..you said he appears to hate you?"

Hashirama blinked, then nodded. "Yeah.."

"Izuna? Izuna seems to hate you right?" Shisui wanted clarification. If this was what he was thinking then maybe he has an idea on how to stop this war.

Hashirama wasn't understanding though, he didn't know why Izuna was important in this conversation. "Yeah." He said anyways. He was startled when suddenly shisui stood up, a big smile was plastered on his face. He seems to have come to a conclusion, it seems.

"I got it!" Shisui exclaimed happily. "I finally know how to make the uchiha sign that peace treaty!" He could almost laugh at how easy he figured it out. He was just slightly surprised that hashirama didn't caught on it before, but it seems that thinking wasn't the shodai's specialty.

"What-how?!" Hashirama stood up in a blink of a eye. Eyes wide with disbelief.

Trying to get his excitement down, shisui faced him. "All this time you have asked Madara to sign the treaty, right?"

"Yeah." Hashirama nodded.

"Well, have you thought that maybe Madara isn't the key to stop the uchiha?"

Hashirama was confused. "What do you mean? Madara is the leader, so-"

"Who does Madara follow and trusts explicitly?" Shisui tried again.

"Explicitly? Well..." hashirama eyes widened.

"Yeah.." shisui nodded smiling knowing that the shodai finally caught on on what he was saying. "Him. Izuna."

"But..Izuna is not leader-"

"He is not leader. But he is Madara's right hand man. He is Madara's younger brother. And Madara loves his brother doesn't he? Madara trusts izuna's views over anyone's. If izuna says no, then Madara will say no. Don't you see? Madara is not the one you have to convince to sign the treaty. Is izuna." Shisui finished.

"...so you are telling me...that Madara wanted to say yes, but he didn't because of izuna?" Hashirama prompted further.

"Hm...I don't think Madara will just easily say yes. But maybe if izuna wasn't in the picture, he would have considered it. But he is, and izuna doesn't trust you. For that reason he could have played a big part of Madara's decision." Shisui explained thoughtfully.

"...so I just need to convince izuna, right?" Hashirama asked, eyes shining with hope.

Shisui winced a bit, hashirama seems to think this was going to be easy. There was a reason izuna and tobirama were rivals. And not just because of strength, but in views and personalities. If hashirama thought convincing Madara was hard...izuna was going to be impossible. "Yeah well...is not going to be that easy hashirama-sama."

But hashirama merely nodded enthusiastically. He was obviously in cloud nine. Too distracted to listen carefully to shisui. "I never thought the answer was izuna. This explains and clarifies so much!" He turned to shisui eyes shining.

"Thank you shisui!" Being hashirama he pulled a startled shisui to a hug. He was much taller than him reason why shisui's head was on his chest. But his height didn't stopped hashirama from giving him a super friendly hug.

Meanwhile shisui blushed with embarrassment and awkwardly patted his back. If it was itachi he would have immediately returned the hug. But this was the shodai...it was embarrassing. But shisui didn't have the heart to tell hashirama to stop. Not when he was this happy. So shisui dealt with it.

Later on, he would have to pop hashirama's bubble and tell him that convincing izuna was going to be harder than fighting a war. But for now...he let him be.
