Shanaya Point of view:

"Ami dekho! Barat agayi!" I heard my friend Safa yelling in happiness. My heart rate quickened more than before as my friends giggled and left to see the Groom arriving with his family and friends. Sound of musicians could be heard in this bride room the hall staff had provided me, even though this room was on the 2nd storey of the building of this Wedding hall. I got up from my chair and went up to the window. My eyes shined as lights of decorations reflect my eyesight. I smiled and my nervousness got to another high level.

I am getting married. My wedding day has arrived. The thought brought nervousness and happiness all together within me. My eyes roamed to see my Groom. My soon to be husband. Nikaah ceremony was going to be held after just 15 minutes and then I will be wife of him.

Shehryar. I will be know as Mrs. Shehryar Asif. The thought brought smile to my lips.

"Khirki ke pass kya horeha hai, haan?" I turned around shocked and embarrassed that my ami had caught me peeking through the window.

"Nothing ami." I blushed. Ami came near me and engulfed me in a hug. I smiled halfheartedly as she kiss top of my head. Tear welled up in my eyes as thought of leaving her tonight to move in a new life came to my mind. When we pulled away, Ami eyes were watery as well. She kissed my forehead and smiled though some tears slipped out of our eyes.

"Ami I will not go." I said childishly and she laughed.

"Aww mera bacha but you have to go. It's for the best for you, for Shehryar and his family and for me." She said and I hugged her tightly. Ami and I were the only people in our family. Since Dad had left us, I and ami had stand by each other. Although ami never said I knew that Ami was tired now, she want some rest from this responsibilities. A large company to run and a daughter to handle was a lot, even though ami never will say anything. I know she is tired from these responsibilities and I was very happy that now after my marriage she can have rest and peace of mind.

"Mein bohat khush hoon, Shanaya. I am so happy that finally you are going to be with Shehryar-" Ami was cut off by the sound of the door being slammed open. I gasped and turned to see my best friend Safa by the door. She was nearly crying as she entered the bride room. I frowned and my breath hitched in my throat.

"What's wrong? Kya hua?" Ami asked as she walked towards Safa. Safa's eyes met mine and tears fell from her eyes.

"Safa beta, kya hua hai bolo!" Ami was panicked now. Safa looked at Ami and said the words I never expected to hear.

"Shehryar. He is gone. He ran away." Safa cried.

And that's how dreams of my bright future with the person I loved came crashing down in front of my eyes.

I dint even got time to cry on my loss as ami screamed in pain. My eyes widened when my mother's body fell on the floor and a ear piercing scream left from Safa's lips.
