Normani was finally able to close up her studio after a long and unusually hot day. And sadly, the hot day hit when Normani was getting the AC replaced and couldn't turn it on, so her and her many students were sweating their asses off.

Looking at her wrist, she sighed at her barely moving dragon tattoo. Last week it was moving like crazy while she was at the store, but every guy she saw, didn't have the same dragon tattoo, or were already take, and she was surprised she didn't get ran off by the other ladies. She just hoped she didn't have more than one mates like her friend. How she had three? She had no clue, but Dinah was a lucky bitch. All three were hot, and could sing.

She honestly hoped her soulmate was a woman though. Especially with her extra package. Usually when people found out about it, they either freak, or ask to see it or start calling her names, which hurt a lot. Honestly, she just wants to meet her soulmate and not feel so lonely anymore.

The drive going home wasn't fun, especially seeing those red and blue lights behind her. Normani let out a loud groan as she pulled over, hoping the officer would at least be quick so she could go home and drink some wine.

She itched her arm as she rolled down her window, waiting for the officer to walk over. And holy shit was she surprised when she saw the officer. At least the same height as her, tanned skin, bright eyes and long silky hair that Normani wants to run her fingers through.

"License and registration please." God, her voice was so silky and honey like. "Ma'am?" Normani looks at the officer, who's waiting patiently and gives her an embarrassed smile.

"Yes, sorry." She quickly grabs her wallet and takes her ID out, then grabbing the papers from the glove box.

"Do you know why I pulled you over?"

"N-no ma'am." Normani tries not to stare so much, but the officer's really beautiful and little Mani isn't cooperating very well.

"You were traveling a bit too close to a car, going ten miles over the speed limit, and her break light is out on the drivers side."

"Oh.." Normani lets out a relieved sigh, but it doesn't help anything.

"Where are you coming from?"

"My studio. I teach dance and it was really hot today since I couldn't turn my a.c. on, because I thought today was suppose to be a cool day, but it turned out to be hot and it was one of the hardest days with the moves I was teaching and-" the officer couldn't help but smile as she listen to the rambling beautiful woman.

"Ma'am! Just breath okay?" Normani's cheeks started to flush as she became shy, giving the officer a nod. "As long as everything comes back fine, you'll be on your way soon." Normani nodded, scratching her arm again. "You too? Mine started bugging me last week."

"Mine too, I have a dragon-"

"Dragon..." Normani looks up and pulls her sleeve up revealing her tattoo that was moving around like crazy. When she looked up, the officer had her own sleeve pulled up, with her tattoo moving around. When their fingers touch, their tattoos stop moving and soon there's two dragons intertwined on their arms. The itching finally stopped and a cool sensations is replaced.

"It was you last week." Normani blushed and nodded.

"That dress was gorgeous on you." The officer laughed and shook her head.

"A date gone wrong. Didn't even pick me up, so went to the store and got comfort food and some wine."

"Guy is a dick. I'm Normani, or Mani for short.

"Y/n Y/l/n. Normani is a beautiful name."

"So is Y/n."

"Um, I still kinda have to check you, but after, can we exchange numbers? I would like to still talk to you." Normani nodded, already pulling out her phone as Y/n walked back to her squad car.

When Normani and Dinah got together for their weekly coffee date, Dinah couldn't help but laugh as Normani explained the story to her.

"Maybe she'll let you use the handcuffs!" The Polynesian laughed loudly as she clapped her hands.

"Why am I friends with you?"

"'Cause I'm hot as fuck." Normani rolled her eyes, but couldn't help the smile that comes to her face. Thank God she had a break light out, or she wouldn't have found her soulmate.
