EXT. TORIE'S CAR/ON THE ROAD- DAY

The car ride is silent. An unspoken sadness. The radio plays, "You Gotta Be" by Des'ree. Abram's leaning his head on the seat staring up at the sky, conflicted. Between him and Flynn, Savannah has her hood on, heartbroken. Flynn's arms are folded, a nervous wreck. In the passenger seat, Torie's holding her head, elbow propped up on the door, overanalyzing. Tristen keeps his eyes on the road, remorseful.

EXT. NORTHPOINTE PARKING LOT – DAY

Tristen parks the car. Cuts the engine. Flynn immediately gets out and heads for the drop-off. They all get out.

ABRAM

Flynn, where are you going? I'll take you home.

FLYNN

I'm taking the bus.

Abram faces the rest of them, disillusioned.

ABRAM

We have to do this again sometime, seriously. I had a blast.

He walks away. Torie follows him.

TORIE

Abram, wait.

Abram swings back around impatiently.

TORIE (CONT'D)

Are we just not going to talk about what happened on the beach?

ABRAM

There's nothing to talk about because nothing happened.

TORIE

I know but what if it did?

Abram scoffs.

ABRAM

Don't flatter yourself.

He leaves her behind. Scorned.

EXT. PARKING LOT – DAY

Tristen walks Savannah to her car. She can hardly look at him.

TRISTEN

We're cool right?

SAVANNAH

Yeah. See you tomorrow.

She gets in her car. Tristen's right back where he started.

EXT. PARKING LOT – DAY

Abram walks to his car just as Nikki and Jeff are getting into his.

NIKKI

What happened to you?

JEFF

Are you actually sick?

ABRAM

Not that I know of.

JEFF

Then why does it look like your dog died?

Starts his car. Drives off. Honks. Abram gets in his car. Just sits there.

EXT. PARKING LOT – NIGHT

Savannah's pulling out of the parking lot. Someone walks in front of her. She stomps on the breaks. Looks up. It's Vance. He holds up their photobooth slide. Flips it around. It reads, "I'm sorry."

VANCE

Can we talk?

Savannah stares back, head spinning.
