Spinning cup. Lands on Abram.

TORIE

I'm going to take a guess and say you're afraid of not being the center of attention.

TRISTEN

So we'd just pretend we don't hear him. That works for me.

ABRAM

I'm glad you find my flaws amusing. Makes me feel really good about myself.

TORIE

You're the bravest person I know. It's hard to imagine you being scared of anything.

FLYNN

So what is it?

ABRAM

I'm afraid of singing in public.

SAVANNAH

How? You're in a band.

ABRAM

It's not the same as when you're alone pouring your soul out. The idea of being that vulnerable gives me hives.

TRISTEN

What if they can't see you?

INT. LOBBY/OUTSIDE MUSIC STORE – DAY

"Hero" by Enrique Iglasias plays. Abram's wearing a red Power Ranger's mask holding the mic of a karaoke machine displayed outside the store. The others stand among the crowd that's waiting to see Justin Timberlake. Torie and Savannah pretend to fangirl. Abram is severely uncomfortable, but he goes for it.

ABRAM

ABRAM (CONT'D)
