Avery Standish was the opposite to her sister Claire. Claire was miss popular, the princess of the school and she always looked beautiful in her floral dresses and high heels along with her flawless skin and perfect hair. Avery was not like that, she had never been seen in a dress, always in her large denim jacket and the most she did with her hair was straighten it or put in in a ponytail. Sure she was getting ok grades and had a great personality but who cared about that if at first glance you were a cocky loner? But she didn't care, she had herself and now she had a month of Saturday detention with her best friend Vernon. Great.

A Saturday in detention with five people you barely even know... What could get worse? Or what could get better? Alara Drake is in the military and is dating Tom Hiddleston. She comes home from the military after being at war for six years. She joined the military at the age of eighteen and is now twenty six. The same age as Tom. Her left arm is burned from a grenade and it sucks because she is left handed. Her right arm is covered in tattoos for the friends of hers that died in the war. She has a total of thirteen bullet holes on her legs. When she comes home she acts in two movies and then in Infinity War, Endgame, and the Loki series. October 23rd, 2010. It's the Homecoming dance for Shermer High School. 9 students from different cliques have to endure Saturday detention, before the dance. An Introvert, a Hippie, the Queen Bee, the Nerd, the Jock, the Class Clown, the Rockstars, and the Emo Kid. Their Principal assigns each of them to get to know each other, tell their story, to help make them see each other a little differently. Instead of making detention about discipline, make it a learning experience the students won't forget.
