INT. FOOD COURT - DAY
They enter the food court, Abram sipping his drink. The line's moved up some, but they've still got a ways to go.
FLYNN
Maybe we should cut our losses. If we go back to school now, we'll make it third period.
ABRAM
You mean the period I was purposely trying to avoid. We have a free day all to ourselves. Why not make it count? You guys up for a challenge?
TRISTEN
You do know they have security?
ABRAM
I'll be sure to keep it PG.
TORIE
What twisted idea did you come up with this time?
ABRAM
It has been brought to my attention that you are all cowards. I say it's time we face our biggest fears.
FLYNN
When you say "face our fears", you don't mean anything dangerous or potentially life-threatening?
ABRAM
That's for another time and place. Today is about conquering the fears that stop us from taking chances in life. (re: their faces) From the looks on your faces, I can tell you know exactly what I'm talking about. Why spend the rest of our lives wondering "what if" when we can find out right now?
SAVANNAH
I don't know...
TRISTEN
We'll do it together. It'll be easier if you don't have to face it alone.
TORIE
And we can make it less scary by adding a fun twist. Less Fear Factor, more Double Dare.
ABRAM
Those are the rules. Are we all in?
They all nod. He finishes his drink and places the cup sideways on one of the food court tables. He spins it. It lands on Flynn.
FLYNN
Me? I don't know where to begin.
ABRAM
I think you do.
FLYNN
Okay...I'm afraid to talk to strangers.
Torie looks around. Sees a kiosk of instant cameras.
TORIE
I have an idea.
INT. LOBBY – DAY
Flynn stands behind the camera that's set up. Wanting to run away.
