INT. FOYER – NIGHT
Savannah watches the crowd party on the dance floor as the DJ plays "Pon de Replay." The floor fills up with couples. It's a line dance challenge for lovers. Eric makes his way over.
ERIC
I was told to come ask you to dance.
SAVANNAH
Torie?
ERIC
She's relentless. But one dance won't hurt. It's an easy one. Just watch what everyone else is doing and you can't go wrong.
SAVANNAH
You want to bet?
ERIC
We can figure it out together. It'll be our first study session.
SAVANNAH
Don't say I didn't warn you.
They walk to the dance floor joining other couples dancing together.
Mo stands on the sidelines looking around and spots Vance. He shrugs. She rolls her eyes and takes him to the floor. As they dance, she catches Eric watching. She puts on a show. The dancers switch partners with the couple closest to them. Eric and Mo end up together and Savannah ends up with Vance.
VANCE
Hi. I'm Vance.
Savannah looks disgusted.
SAVANNAH
I know who you are.
She walks away from him. Eric witnesses this. Regretfully, he leaves Mo to go follow her.
ERIC
Savannah. Are you okay? What happened?
SAVANNAH
I'm not dancing with Vance. He's a bully with anger issues.
ERIC
Not that the guy needs anyone's pity, but there's a lot about Vance you don't know. I wouldn't be too hard on him.
Mo looks away from Eric and Savannah, forcing herself not to care. Torie walks over.
TORIE
They look cute together, right?
MO
If you say so.
Torie looks around the room.
TORIE
