The morning was an unwelcome sight. You awoke on a large bed but not alone as you had come used to. Beside you, equally sprawled out across the bed was you new husband Tyrion, both of you fully clothed and not using the bed in a traditional fashion, laying across the middle rather than with your heads on the pillows. The sun light that leaked through the windows, burned your eyes and as you attempted to sit up, your head begun to pound.

Tyrion woke up at the same time in an equal amount of pain and discomfort as yourself. Any normal person would have regretted the alcohol you had drunk the night prior, but you enjoyed your wine and you were willing to suffer the consequences.

"The morning after is never quite as good as the night," you groaned, moving across the room to close the curtains, having not done so before going to sleep.

"Wait until breakfast, my lady," he sighed. "We are expected to join my sister and without a doubt she shall have questions."

"And we shall have answers, my lord," you grinned, trying to set your hangover aside, knowing that the pain that Cersei Lannister was going to put you and her brother through. "I do not see issue if some of those answers do not fully align with the truth.

Tyrion gave you a pained smile, the wine still taking its affect upon him before the two of you got ready for the hellish breakfast with his family.

Down in the grand hall, Cersei sat at the head of the table, her son and father sat along one side of the table, two seats free for yourself and Tyrion. You took them, not impressed with the onslaught of prying eyes and soon to be questions you were greeted with.

"If it isn't our happy little couple," Cersei smirked, her son attempting to hide a laugh. "How does it feel Y/N, to be a Lannister? It must be nice to be rid of your wolf name."

You shot your husband a look out of the corner of your eye before a grin appeared on your face to appear far more pleasant and friendly than you would ever wish to be.

"It is marvellous, my lady," you smiled. "I can certainly see why you are lions."

"And why is that?" She questioned, taking a sip of her drink.

You let out a fake giggle. "Well your brother is certainly a wild animal in the bedroom."

Cersei almost choked on her drink, and Tyrion let out a shocked noise not realising what you were about to say, although being prepared for you to be causing trouble with his sister.

"Pardon?" She croaked, letting out a cough to clear her throat.

"I'm certainly surprised I can walk today," you smirked.

You could see that Cersei was turning pale, but Tyrion was gaining as much enjoyment from the conversation as you were. He moved his hand to take yours atop the table, giving it a gentle squeeze.

"Don't belittle yourself, my love," he grinned. "I cannot say I am dreading returning to our chambers to continue last night. It is certainly pleasant to make love to a young beautiful woman. Maybe you should ask Jamie about it, Cersei."

Her eyes widened. "What do you mean by that?"

"I'm sure his memory isn't that bad; he should be able to remember back to when you were my wife's age."

You could see the anger brewing in the eyes of your new sister-in-law, so cleared your throat and rose from the table.

"My apologies my lady, my lord, my king," you said softly. "I must ask to retire early from this meal, last night certainly took its toll."

Before any of them could say anything, Tyrion joined you on his feet and escorted you from the room. As the door closed, the two of you exchanged looks before letting out a laugh.

"You will be lucky to keep your head, Lord Tyrion," you laughed. "I do not think I have seen anything as enjoyable as the look on your sisters face when you mentioned her affair."

"It is a common look," he stated. "She has a life filled with shame; I am sure we shall enjoy such looks many a time."

"I do hope so."
