I wish you were here or that I was there.
Ever since I cheated death life hasn't been fair.
I lay in the dark and listen to the thunder rattling the window.
I try to imagine what it's like as lightning strikes giving off it's luminescent glow.
It's 4:00 am and I have no real reason to be awake, when I could be lost in my dreams.
I'll probably still be up when my school alarm rings.
More asleep than I am awake ,I have everything I need so why do I still take?
I'm in between hiding and being seen, so maybe that's why I'm so glad to escape into my dreams.
