Chapter 34: The End

(Jade POV)

        "What are you doing?" Sesshomaru asked. 

"Getting rid of these wretched weapons." I growled. I ripped the necklaces from my neck, and threw them onto of the sword. I looked at the staff, and it appeared on top of the pile. 

With every once of strength I had, I slammed my fist into the ground. 

"That's amazing." Hychi breathed as a path to the Underworld formed. I kicked the weapons into the crack, then added Akio's body. Enma and Sakura's bodies were already destroyed from Bakusaiga. 

"Burn in hell. All three of you." I growled, then the path closed. 

"Come here." Sesshomaru pulled me into a hug, and I broke down. I fell against him as tears soaked his robe. He stroked my hair, but didn't say a word. 

"Everything will be okay." Hychi said; rubbing my back, and I heard Sesshomaru growl. 

"Don't growl at Hychi." I said; flicking his ear. 

"Hn." he grumbled. 

"So. It's all over now?" Hychi asked. 

"Yes." I said; pushing away from Sesshomaru. 

"Now what?" Hychi asked. 

"The well!" I exclaimed, and took of running. 

        I came to stop as I entered the clearing. What I saw shocked me. In the middle, stood not one, but two wells. 

I slowly ran my hand across one of them. Etched in the wood was Kagome's name. I smiled, then looked at the other. It had my name on it. I smiled even wider, and ran to the village. 

"Jade! We're not as fast as you!" Hychi called as I flew past them. 

        "Kagome!!" I yelled as I entered the village. 

"Jade- what?!" she looke frightened. 

"Yes, I'm a demon, but come!" I threw her onto my back, and ran back to the clearing. I heard Sesshomaru growl, as I passed them again. 

"Kagome!" Inuyasha yelled. 

"Uh! I think it's fine! Just follow!" Kagome yelled back. 

        I appeared in front of the yelled in seconds. 

"There's one for both of us now." I said; setting her down. I looked over at her, and tears were streaking her face. 

"You can visit home again." I smiled. 

"I don't know what you did, but thank you!!" she brought me into a tight hug as she cried. 

----Time Skip----

        "Are you ready?" Lady Mother asked from the door way. 

"Yes." I smiled. 

"Don't keep the guest waiting. You are the bride." she smiled, and gave me a hug. 

"Thank you for setting this all up." I whispered to her. 

"I liked you even when you were human. Had Sesshomaru decided to follow in his father's footsteps, then I wouldn't have objected knowing it was you." she said, and I saw tears in her eyes. 

"Thank you." I said; tears falling from mine. 

"Stop that! You'll ruin your make up!" she snapped; flicking my ear. 

"And, moment ruined." I chuckled. 

"Hurry up, Jade. I didn't want to do this to begin with." Inuyasha grumbled. 

"Shut up! And just walk me down the aisle." I stuck my tongue out at him. 

"Yeah yeah. I still don't see why Hychi couldn't do it." he mumbled. 

"Because he's Sesshoomaru's best man." I shrugged. 

        It's been three years since everything happened, and Hychi and Sesshomaru had grown close. Hychi was Sesshomaru's general even. Rin was living with us, and I claimed her as a sister. I had grown use to being a demon, and my mom and Grandpa Sota excpeted it without even thinking about it. I was happy. I was even happier, knowing that Kagome could go home again. Grandpa Sota sometimes gets random memories about Kagome talking about his granddaughter, and I always smile when he tells us. 

"Are you ready?" Inuyasha asked as we made it to the door. 

"Yes." I smiled, and the doors opened.

I saw Sesshomaru, and he looked stunning. He was wearing a pure white robe, with a red shirt underneath. and no armor.  I smiled when I saw him, and he actaully smiled back. 

"Don't trip, idiot." Inuyasha said as he caught me. 

"I'm not an idiot!" I whined. 

"Inuyasha! It's her wedding day! Be nice!" Kagome hissed from the alter. She was my maid of honor. 

"Do not insult my wife." Sesshomaru growled. 

"She's not your wife yet." Inuyasha mumbled. "Ow!" he said as I stomped on his toe. 

"Come on." I smiled as I continued to walk. Rin ran from her seat, and wrapped her arms around my waist. She was thirteen now, and almost as tall as me. I hugged her back, an then she sat back down. 

I got up to the alter, and Sesshomaru pulled me into a kiss. 

"Not yet." I laughed; pushing him away slightly. 

        After the feast, everyone went home. Except for Kagome, Inuyasha, Sango, Miroku, and Shippo. They were staying with us for a week, and I was happy. It took some begging, but I got them to stay. It also helped that I had already told them they coudl, so Sesshomaru just sighed, and said whatever. 

The night ended great, and I was happy that I didnt' have to worry about Akio, Enma, or Sakura ever again. More demon's would come, but Sesshomaru and I would protect our lands.

No one would hurt anyone I cared about as long as I was around.

I know it was a short chapter, but the story ended on a happy note this time!!! Well...mostly!
