When they finally got the tree they carried it to the imapala, Dean struggled putting it in the backseat but he managed to. They got home and opened the door, Dean put the tree on the floor.
"We need to put on decorations now, Dean!" Castiel smiled, he was very excited for this part.
"SAMMY! We're going to decorate now!" Dean shouted up the stairs, Sam came running down not long after with two boxes of decorations. Castiel bounces in excitement grabbing one of the boxes. Dean put on his Christmas songs playlist and started decorating. Sam's favourite decoration was a Lego angel that you had to build. Sam let Castiel do it as he was so excited
"Dean do you want to put the halo on the Angel!" Castiel asked smiling. Dean laughed and placed the halo on Castiel's head.
"You're my angel" Dean smiled, Sam looked over at them, he was glad his brother was happy but he couldn't help but feel a little bit jealous. Dean kissed Castiel quickly and went to put the halo on the Lego angel. They had finished decorating, Dean put his arms around Castiel and Sam and they looked around at the room.
"It's beautiful Dean." Castiel smiled
"Thanks to you two" Dean sighed, but happily. They sat on the sofa and Dean turned on the TV
"What Christmas film should we watch?" Dean asked
"Nativity!" Castiel shouted
"Elf!" Sam shouted at the same time as Cas. They frowned at each other. Dean rolled his eyes
"Here we go" he thought. They started arguing
"Okay let's just watch Gremlins" Dean sighed
"That's not even a Christmas film. It's just set in Christmas!" Castiel exclaimed
"Okay fine! We'll stay up late and watch it." Dean said, he put his arm around Castiel. Cas laid his head on Dean's shoulder and smiled.
It was past midnight, and they got through all three films. Well, everyone except Cas. He fell asleep after Nativity. Castiel snored, but very quietly. Dean smiled and kissed the top of his head, he carried Cas up the stairs and gently laid him on his bed. Dean sat next to him and yawned.
Sam came into the room reading a book.
"Hey Dean-" he started. He looked up to see Dean hugging Castiel, asleep. Sam smiled and took a picture on his phone, he sent it to Dean.
"Destiel" he messaged with a smiling face. He put down his phone and closed the door silently and went to bed.
