Castiel stood outside of his new university, he stared in silence. His pupils dilated, this school was huge. He couldn't imagine the amount of students that would be able to look at his face. Castiel always had self esteem issues. As he stood staring at the massive school his brother Gabriel came over to him

"It's okay Cas, you'll get through this" Gabriel said, patting his shoulder
"Thank you, Gabriel" Cas replied, his heart skipping beats.
"Who's your roommate?" Gabriel asked, curiously
"D-Dean Winchester" Castiel stuttered
"Perfect. Good luck brother" Gabriel said, whilst hugging him quickly.
"I'll see you at Christmas." Gabriel grinned, unwrapping a chocolate bar and shoving the whole thing in his mouth, chewing

Castiel smiled. Gabriel has always been the only one who cared for him, though he was quite a trickster and always played pranks on him, Castiel loves him dearly. Cas took a deep breath and walked into the school, his head hanging low, trying to avoid eye contact. He was getting shoved and barged everywhere, it was extremely loud in the hallway. Castiel took one strap of his backpack off his shoulder and went into his pocket searching for the keys to his dorm. An older boy laughed and kicked Castiel over, he dropped all his pens, notebooks and his laptop all over the floor. "Assbutt" Castiel thought as he went to the floor scrambling for his stuff.
Once Castiel found his dorm he had trouble opening it, he stood for a while twisting the keys until his door opened. He sighed with relief and dumped all his bags on the empty bed, he laid there for a few seconds until he heard a loud thump coming from the bathroom door. He stood up and walked their cautiously, like a scared cat. He stood in front of the door and someone opened the door, faster than lightning. Castiel screamed and jumped backwards covering his eyes.
When Cas slowly opened his eyes he gasped and adjusted his dark green jumper. It was his roommate, Dean Winchester. He laughed loudly and looked at Castiel with a smirk.

"You Castiearl?" He asked
"Uhh- it's pronounced Castiel." He replied, awkwardly
"Sorry if I startled you." Dean said, trying to hide his laugh. Castiel rubbed the back of his neck and grimaced. Dean has a strong scent of beer and flowery perfume, it hurt Castiel's nose a bit. "Dean seems to be the party type, great" Castiel thought, rolling his eyes. Dean yawned and staggered past him, he then flopped onto his bed like a fish out of water.
"I'm so hungover dude" he sighed. Castiel walked to his desk, placed his laptop, notebook and pens on the cold wooden surface and began studying.
"Studying already? You only just joined" Dean scoffed
"My plan was to graduate and leave. So yes, Dean." Castiel said, slightly irritated. Dean lay his head back down and groaned.

"Are you going to come to the party with me tonight? Dean asked, hoping Cas would say yes.
"Party's aren't exactly what satisfy me, Dean." Castiel enunciated
"Oh come on man!" Dean rebuked
"It's your first day, live a little!"
Dean kept on trying to convince Castiel to tag along but he just could make him. For what felt like the 100th time Dean asked Cas again and he gave in

"Fine, Dean. But don't expect me to stay." Castiel sighed, Dean jumped in joy.
"Okay we need to get you changed!" Dean said, loudly
"I was planning on just wearing this..." Castiel said, confused
"That's just so boring." Dean laughed. Castiel frowned, and Dean went through Castiel's bag looking for something interesting to put him into.
He picked out a dark blue shirt with shiny white buttons and a little stitched symbol of angel wings.

"This is perfect for a party!" Dean exclaimed, Castiel rolled his eyes and grabbed the shirt out of his hand. He walked to the bathroom and as he was about to close the door and lock it Dean said

"Come on, we're roommates. Do you really think this is going to happen forever" Dean huffed
"Yes. I like my privacy, Dean" Castiel said, locking himself in the bathroom, he changed and looked in the mirror and was breathing deeply
"You'll be okay" he thought "Dean will be there and he won't leave you unattended" he adjusted his hair and walked out of the bathroom
