"Cas!" Dean shouted, tapping his shoulder. Castiel opened his eyes
"We're here." Dean smiled, Castiel unplugged his seatbelt and stepped out of the car. He was quivering with fear, as they were walking up the steps to the front door, he grabbed Dean's arm

"Dean. You know meeting people is not my strong point. What if I mess it all up?" Castiel worried
"As long as I'm with you, you'll be fine. Anyway, Sammy is a very understanding person and my dad is usually passed out in his room. There's nothing to worry about"
Castiel took a deep breath as Dean opened the door to his house.

"Sammy! Are you awake?" Dean shouted up the stairs, Castiel heard a small thudding sound as a very tall man stood at the top of the stairs
"Dean!" He shouted, running down and hugging him tightly
"I thought you said he was your little brother Dean-" Castiel said, confused. Sam laughed at Dean. Dean frowned at him
"I used to be taller. But he outgrew me" Dean replied annoyed
"I didn't know you were bringing guests" Sam said
"This is my roommate, Castiel"
"Ahh, Cas. I've heard about you a lot" Sam said, putting his hand out for Cas to shake it. Castiel slowly moved his hand towards Sam's. His hand was shaking frantically, after they had shaked hands Sam wiped his hands on his jeans. Castiel's were very sweaty
"You seem like a very nervous guy Cas" Sam examined
"Yes, extremely nervous. You wouldn't believe that he does pubic speaking class" Dean laughed
"No way!" Sam said.
Castiel likes Sam, he seemed like a nice person.
"So, where's dad?" Dean asked
"On the road. He's always busy with work" Sam rolled his eyes
"Why did I even ask." Dean sighed
"Well. It's 1am so maybe we should get some sleep." Sam said
"Yeah. Cas you can sleep in the guest room. I'll take you there." Dean put his arm around Cas' shoulder as he lead Castiel to the guest room.

The guest room wasn't amazing but it was much better than Castiel's bedroom at home. There was a picture of Dean and Sam as children on the desk, Castiel walked closer to examine it when Dean ran and slammed it down face first.

"What are you doing Dean?" Castiel laughed
"You don't want to look at my face, it's horrible" Dean grimaced
"It's can't be that bad, Dean." Castiel said, forcing Dean's hand up and looking at the picture. You could really see that it was Dean and Sam, they hadn't changed much at all.

"Bedtime you. I know how hard it is to wake you up in the morning when you've had a late night" Dean laughed
"Okay Dean" Cas said happily as he grabbed a pair of pyjamas out of his bag. Castiel lay in the bed and Dean kissed him on the forehead
"See you in the morning" Dean smiled.
Castiel fell asleep, smiling and dreaming about how much fun he is going to have on Christmas Day with Dean and Sam.

A few hours later Castiel woke up to the sound of loud thunder and lightning. He jumped a little and his eyes widened. He started shivering in fear, he climbed out of his bed and walked towards the door, before he could pull down the door handle Dean came running in, he grabbed Castiel and squeezed him tightly.

"It's okay Cas." Dean comforted. When Dean hugged him Castiel felt the weight lift off his shoulder, when lightning struck again he didn't jump, he stood still.
"Hey, you're getting better." Dean chuckled, patting his back. Cas smiled, this was the first time he hadn't reacted to one of his fears.
"Thank you Dean. You have made a big impact on my life." Castiel smiled.
"Can you stay with me until it's over?" Castiel asked, still a little bit worried
"Of course." Dean replied. They sat down on his bed and talked, and joked, they fell asleep.
