Suddenly, Alquin and Namiri heard a deafening sound. It could not be classified as a roar anymore. It resonated through the land and the world and heavens shook. Fighting not to lose consciousness due the the intensity of the sound, they looked out of the window at an enormous mountain hanging upside down from the sky, high in the air above them.
Everyone experiencing a similar phenomenon, people stood frozen on the streets of cities, looking up to the sky. Some were unable to withstand the sound and collapsed. Staring at the immeasurable mountain, towering above them, they realzed, it was no mountain. It was just a tip of a tooth.
Soon, they had lost the sight of it, as the gargantuan maw opened even wider, to the point it could swallow the whole world.
And swallow it shall.
A shadow loomed over everything, consuming all light.
