Chapter 52

Marissa's P.O.V

I stayed clinging with one hand onto Demi after the sobs that wracked through my body had advanced to silent cries and a shake every now and again

"Want to go lie down?" she whispered softy in my ear

I gave a slight nod before feeling myself being lifted up off the ground, I closed my eyes and made sure my legs were wrapped tightly around her waist

Demi carried me down the hall to our master bedroom at the end of the corridor

She placed me gently on the bed being extremely careful of my broken arm but then got in next to me when I whimpered after being put down

I snuggled my face into her chest before drifting of into my first peaceful sleep in a while

Demi's P.O.V

I waited till Mar was definitely sleeping before getting up and tucking her in then going down the stairs

I walked down to the ground floor where mum was wiping the counters in the kitchen singing along to some song that was playing

"Mum?" I asked out, making her aware of my presence

"Everything okay honey?"

"Can we talk?" I asked hesitantly

" 'Course we can" she smiled putting the towel down and sitting on the counter with her feet on the barstool and patted the place next to her

"Me and Mar have hopefully shorted shit out but Dallas actually hates me mum, what can I do?"

"Let me talk to her D, I need to know what she's thinking but actually being here and seeing how everything's worked out, we'd probably be best going back to Sandra's"

Sandra is our family therapist, we hadn't been in a good while but maybe it'll be for the best, not that I don't have enough therapists to see as it is

"Yeah, that'll probably be best but should I try and sort stuff out the now or wait till we're at Sandra's or what?"

"Honestly? I think you should talk to Maddie but give Dal her space she's in a bad place at the moment, did you know Rob cheated on her? I'm going out to dinner with her and Mads then we're both going to crash over there so you and Ris can have some alone time" she winked, jumping off the counter and walking our the room leaving me staring after her

That fucking dick head did what? I swear to god I am going to fucking kill Rob

About 30 minutes later the door opened revealing Maddie and Ashton, neither of them noticing me

After watching them make out for like 5 minutes, Maddie finally turned around noticing me "Oh, uh- hey Demi"

"Can we talk Mads?"

"Uh sure" she agreed , I jumped up and dragged her to the living room

"Madison."

"Demetria"

"I don't know what happened? Everything was going good or well getting better then all this shit happened"

"I don't know what it was but right then I wanted Marissa's help but she's my sister too so I don't get why it was such a big deal"

"It's not a big deal I just felt shit and not good enough for you" I spilled out

"I swear I never wanted you to feel like that Dems, you know I love you so fucking much and I'm honestly really sorry"

I jumped onto her, tackling her into a hug, which made us roll onto the floor then bang our heads together

"Fuck!" we both groaned in unison before looking at each other and cracked up laughing

"Good to see you both are getting along then" a familiar voice came from the doorway, where mum stood with a little smirk on her face and her hands on her hips

"Damn mum! You're looking hot!" I exclaimed, grinning at her

"Don't I know it! Madison, get your ass upstairs and get ready, but be quiet Marissa's asleep"

Within 10 minutes they were both out the door

Just me and Mar for the night
