Marissa's P.O.V

I caught the look in Demi's eyes before she left, she just looked so sad it made me want to cry but at this moment in time Maddie was my main priority

"Baby breathe properly, in and out hunny" I cooed already sensing the early signs of a panic attack

"I-I can't h-h-help me" she gasped clinging onto me for dear life

"You can, see in and out just like me" I told her, gently placing her dripping arm on my stomach as I made my over to the sink with her

I placed her on top of the bathroom counter and wet a cloth

I placed it on one arm as gently as I could, she closed her eyes and hissed in pain

"I know hunny, just a minute and it'll be over" I murmured, dabbing her arm, checking if it was still bleeding

"I wish" she mumbled under breath not meaning for me to hear probably

"Don't you ever say that" I whispered fiercely into her ear, she just nodded weakly in reply and leant her head against me

The blood had stopped so I put gauze on the cuts and wrapped it in a bandage from the first aid kit under the sink

"I think we need to talk" I told her matter of factly as I picked her up again and carried her through to her room

"Do we have to?" She whined like a little kid

"Yes, no question about it. You can talk to Demi if you want?" I offered

"Nah I'm good"

"About that, how come you wanted me and not Demi?- I mean I'm not complaining at all, I'm just confused"

"I just feel safer with you" she mumbled

She lay her head in my chest and she still hasn't let go off my t-shirt

"I love you Mar" she muttered before she was off in a deep sleep

"Love you more" I said to her, even though she was asleep before kissing her head and going out the room, leaving the door open a little just incase
